It does what I want it to do. It makes toast from sliced bread, pita bread, English muffins and bagels. The crumb catching trays (one for each pair of slots) are easy to remove and clean (recommended to do at least once a week).

I have been using this brand/model toaster for about 5 years now. It works well, although I do wonder why it toasts more on one side than the other. It is by design, as can be seen by looking into the unit while it is working. Overall, I like this toaster.

This was one of the least expensive 4 slice toasters on Overstock and it works great. My only complaint is the feature that keeps the toast only partially popped to keep it warm. When toasting smaller stuff like english muffins, it can be difficult to remove from the toaster. But overall, a great purchase.

Love my new toaster. My previous one which was a name brand and cost a lot more then the Proctor Silex was terrible. It toasted unevenly and English Muffins toasted hard all the way through. Our News station was doing a segment on Toasters. They tested a number of different toasters (25), prices ranged from inexpensive to high priced. In the end the Proctor Silex Coolwall was the winner so I ordered it. I am so happy with the toaster. It met all the my expectations. My English muffins toast great. They are nicely browned and soft inside. My toast is evenly browned on both sides. I highly recommend this toaster.

We've toasted bagels and bread now for several weeks since the purchase and are pleased with this toaster. It's nothing fancy, but gets the job done, which is exactly what we were looking for. Takes up far less counter space than our previous toaster (also an Overstock purchase years ago), so we got a win-win with this selection.

I am very pleased with the toaster - I have been using it to cook English muffins, which can be difficult in other toasters. The Proctor Silex browns the muffins nicely and they are quite easy to retrieve. This is a very good quality product and I would not hesitate to recommend it. to others.

The product does a fine job. We use it almost daily and are satisfied completely with its performance.

Was given as a gift. My daughter In Law loved it. I would recommend this just from the comments she made..
