elrod46 If I could have given this a zero I would have. It is not cool to the touch. It gets so hot you can`t lay your hand on it. Manual says if the grease starts to boil over raise the basket. When you do steam comes out the hole where the handle fits and will burn you. The viewing window is worthless because it steams up immediately. Junk

just ok the handled falls off everytime you try to bring the basket up, the basket is very small, can only cook about 4 chicken wings at a time , the led pop up so fast when you open it seems like it will come off. it cook ok and it get hot . it just ok not great.

I've had this exact one for 15 years or more. I don't deep fry very often, but when I do I love this fryer. It finally quit and I could not hesitate before getting a replacement. I reviewed several more newer models, but this one still rates the best. Easy clean and so dependable. Small enough to store easily and fits on the counter without worrying about it being in the way.
