I really like that I found something that would hold many pieces of media easily and in a compressed space. Any type of wall cabinet would have taken at least twice the wall space that this does. It's also a plus that it is not closed off with any doors. It is so easy to see everything! My wife worried that the lack of doors would allow for dust to settle and show, but the shelves are not that deep, so that there is virtually no shelf sticking out beyond and cds or dvds. It was also pretty easy to put together, and doesn't really require more than 1 able bodied person to do the job in a little over an hour. Honestly, the main assembly took just about an hour, while adding in and configuring the small shelves can take a while, depending on how you want to configure the shelf spacing, which really doesn't count toward assembly time. The only possible drawback i see is the spinner wheel, which is made out of plastic as others have noted. While I can't vouch for the durability of it, I would have preferred a metal ball bearing spinner. And because it is not metal, the spinning motion can be a little slow when the cabinet is weighed down, but not a big deal. All in all, I like the product. Though it's not real wood, it is still good looking and seems to be solidly made. I would buy again, maybe for paperback books next time!
