I found overstock.com to the very least expensive price for the table I was looking for, but was not exactly thrilled with its quality. The black iron is peeling. Disapointing.
This table arrived quickly and was VERY easy to assemble. The box looked like UPS had demolished it, but the contents were safe. The only thing I am disappointed with are the seams in the wood, which are on the corners of the table. The seams don't line up exactly, leaving some of the MDF exposed. At first, I thought the table had cracked during shipping, but it's just the seams. Overall, a nice table...but don't look too closely at the finishes! Also, I think it is higher than 18" - I was expecting a short coffee table, but it's a good height.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this table was. Just as pictured. It's the perfect color of wood, because it blends with my richer maple cabinets in my kitchen and the darker cherry accents I have in my great room. Easy assembly and great weight. Looks beautiful with the iron accents.
We are very pleased with the Prentice Cocktail table. My husband spray painted the metal because we wanted a hammered brown look. Assembly was easy. The beveled glass up against the wood is very classy. This was a great purchase all around -cost, delivery, assembly and finished look.
