The cocktail table was all that I wanted and more! Goes beautifully in my room. I was very happily surprised with the quality and appearance. I had actually seen the same table on 3 other websites and the price on Overstock.com was considerably lower than all of the other sites.

I expected this piece to be better quality. It looks okay but not quality enough to go where I wanted it to go. It is more of a starter coffee table for someone.

The table is gorgeous and heavy. It was easy to assemble. I ordered this along w/ 2 end tables. One of the end tables was as easy to assemble as the coffee table. The 2nd one had the holes misdrilled and was aggravating.

Okay, but i have not received any compliments because the Top iweight of table s disproportunate to the leg weight, looks & feels unbalanced.

Looking for coffee table with an open feel to it. This fit the bill nicely. Its not overly big but has a nice presense to it. What i didn't like was the finish on the corners looked like maybe it had creacked and there was a chips on each corner which i repaired. Not a big problem but at this price expect the quality control to be higher.

Very nice. We would have preferred the lighter wood color to match our teak. Wood is really a dark mahogany (which might have been the description?). Appears to be good quality. Packaging/Shipping was good -- no problems. Fairly easy to assemble. Would buy from Overstock again, but would be careful if trying to match (or compliment) a wood color.

This cocktail table was well packed and protected when delivered. The pieces fit together very well. Some tips from other reviews note that during construction, keep the bolts a bit loose until final assembly and then tighten. That information was very helpful. There is not a lot of finger room to make final bolt tightening - suggest a bit of patience. The table looks very nice when all together. We also purchased the end table as a matched set, and they matched perfectly!

The table arrived in just three days. It took about 30 minutes to assemble. Much easier with two people because one needs to hold the leg while the other tightens the screw. It looks lovely in my traditional living room. I have also ordered the matching sofa table.

I really like the table, very stlyish however the wood color is much darker than appears on the webpage. This is definitely a dark cherry, don't be mistaken by the pictures that appear to be a medium wood color.

My wife gasped when we opened the box. The color was way darker than in the picture. There were nicks in the wood. The stain has brush strokes in it. The metal work is very rough. In the picture it looks shiny and smooth. In real life it is rough and flat looking. What a nose bleed. My advice is: don't buy furniture unless you can see it in real life first.

The color is right on & the workmanship is fantastic + I was able to assemble it with relative ease. Works so very well with my eclectic choices of furniture. I also purchased one end table.

Diagonal braces did not align well, caused wobble, I had to place pads under legs. May be assembly instructions should mention not to tighten the screws too much?

I am very pleased with the table. Received it seven days after placing order. There were no inperfection in the quality of this table and I assembled it in under 10 minutes!

Very nice table and easy to assemble. I was a little bit disappointed since one side of the top of the table had scratches but not too badly scratched up. It is elegant looking and sturdy as well. Beveled glass on the top. I bought the sofa table to match it and it is a nice table, small enough for a small room. I don't feel it deserves 5 STARS since it had the scratches and also it is exactly worth the money of what you are paying for. Happy with my purchase though. Had many compliments on it already, I expect to use for at least another 5 years or so.....
