Patio Umbrella
This definetly is a premium umbrella. The durability and construction shows in the workmenship. I have two in Navy, the sun doesn't shine through the Olefin material and it has a classy look.

Breaks easily
I purchased six of these umbrellas for a closed courtyard area of our building. Within 2 months, two of the umbrellas broke in half above the base at the connection of the table. The aluminum is very thin. I would not recommend these. The company was very nice and replaced the first one, but as they break I am going to replace them with a sturdier wood umbrella.

Great patio umbrella
The umbrella arrived 2 days after I ordered it. Looks great, has already stood up to the wind. The color is just about true to the images shown. We shall see how it does this summer.

missing instructions
this umbrella appears to be designed to adjust the angle, but i have not figured out how that adjustment can be made and no instructions were included in the package.

Not a good value
The first day I put this umbrella up a slight wind pulled it right out of the table it was in. The pole is so light weight-thin aluminum. A few nights ago we had a rain storm and again there was some gusts (not severe at all) and it lifted out of the table again, hit the house, one of the arms bent. Then today I was looking at it and it's ripping by the area where the umbrella cloth is attached. After reading all these reviews I'm amazed how different my experience is and since looking I've seen much better deals , better quality out there. I have it weighted down now by a thing I've hung on the crank. Maybe I am just used to wood? Gotta say, overall, the construction is flimsy.

Good umbrella, but slightly flimsy
The quality of the product is average. I have had to replace it three times, all due to wind damaging one of the arms beyond repair. If its windy or even close.. close the umbrella, then it will last for years... good quality cover and color stays well if not in direct sun consistantly. Bought the same product because it was on clearance.. and living in chicago can only use it for the three months of summer, but if I lived further north or in a more windy place would definitely get the steel ribbede umbrellas which dont bend if the umbrella blows unexpectedly.

This is the third time I have had to replace this product, for the price its about average but with a small bit of wind if caught unprepared, the umbrella falls over and one of its arms is bent, beyond repair and umbrella must be replaced. If its going to be windy close the umbrella, then it will last for years, otherwise you take your chances

Extremely difficult to open and close
The umbrella is difficult to open and VERY difficult to close. It is quite hard to turn the handle and I must use two hands to close it, one to turn the handle and one to pull the folding arms down. I would not purchase it again. I have purchased several products from Overstock in the past and this is the first product with which I am disappointed.

Olefin Umbrella
The umbrella is exactly what I expected and we are pleased with it. The only downsides are that the crank handle is very tight. Unfortunately the umbrella was located at quite a distance and the sending company perhaps wasn't as quick as others because we waited two weeks in the heat to recieve it. The shade kite we ordered the same day through Overstock came within one week.

Don't. Just Don't.
You get what you pay for. Stopped working midway through one season. Faded tremendously and ultimately came apart. Don't buy an umbrella that us made with a wood frame or pole. Go metal or go inside for shade!
