This is the fourth time I've ordered this pad to use with various carpets purchased from Overstock. It's a great product, thick and substantial, and the carpets stay in place too. Highly recommended.

if you need a great under-carpet pad, this is it....it is wonderful underfoot, feels great.....I bought online with the idea that I was looking for a bargain, rehabbing a house and needed three (3) pads....pleasantly surprised with the quality here---and am very glad that it was shipped---these are so heavy it would have been difficult...nice that it wa shipped to the front porch! What is especially nice about this Made in America pad is that one side goes under carpet, if you are using over tile, use the opposite side which will fit and "seal" the grout line...

This is a nice pad for the price. Well made, nicely packaged, easy to spread out even though I was buying a 9 x 12, which can be cubersome. Only drawback: deciding which was the better surface for wood floor below, especially when wondering about moisture barrier properties...

I have purchased three different rug pads for an antique silk and wool rug...the rug continued to "crawl" and form rolls. I read the comments about this rug pad and decided to give it a shot.I am surprised and pleased to report that my "crawling carpet" is now firmly and beautifully in place. No more moving furniture to smooth out the rug.Thank you, Overstock!

I bought this pad to put under a Persian rug. We always put pads under rugs for the same reason you put them under carpet, they protect the rug and give a better feel while walking on them. This one also prevents slipping (really well!). I would have given 5 stars is it had been a little thicker, as the floor still feels hard under the pad. However, I feel that anyone buying this pad would be satisfied if they want protection and non-slip capabilities.

We ordered this pad to go under a wool area rug on our hardwood floors. It's thin but it provides a considerable amount of cushion. We liked it so much that we ordered a second one for our sunroom. It cut easily to fit the dimensions of our rug. This pad is much better than anything available in the stores.

Yes I really happy in purchasing this pad. It's durable that will last a lifetime, and the price you cannot beat. In fact I am thinking to get a couple more for the other carpet I got I surely recomend it to anyone If you are in the market for Rug pad This is it . You won't be sorry. Thanks Overstock.

I bought this pad to go under a antique persian rug. It does just what I wanted it to do. Makes the rug softer, keeps it in place and will protect. I will purchase another for my next persian.

Gee, after reading all the rave reviews I was totally convinced I needed one of these to bring an ancient rug of mine back to life. Well, I'm nonplussed. It's okay... not fabulous, not bad either. But my first reaction was that it felt a little on the cheap and plastic side. I thought it would be more fabric-based, but it has the texture of a thin rubberized mat. It doesn't feel particularly substantial. That said, it serves its purpose well and provides a nice nonslip, somewhat cushioned base for my antique rug.

I purchased this rug pad and the rug continued to buckle repeatedly. We tried both sides on a tile floor but no luck. It is better without the pad at all! I had to return it, but it did provide great cushion.

I purchased both a 9x12 & an 8x10 premium rug pad and have been extremely pleased. I decided to shop for the pads on-line vs. purchasing them in the store that we bought the rugs. Overstock seemed to have the best deal. They were shipped quickly and arrived in mint condition. We have Brazilian cherry wood floors and these rug pads help protect the floors and cushion the rug. I did have to trim both of them in both the length and width but it wasn't difficult to do so - just scored with a utility knife and cut with scissors.
