I purchased two of these rug pad based on all the positive reviews it has received on Overstock. I just want to thank everyone who has taken their time out to write these reviews to make shopping online a more comfortable experience. The rug pads arrived in a well packaged box and laying the pads out was a real joy. Since I live in an apt with wooden floors, this rug pad resolved all my problems where sound would resonate throughout the apt and who knows to my other neighbors. With these rug pads laid down, I feel like I can do jumping jacks without disturbing my neighbors. My carpet feels ultra plush now!

This is a terrific rug pad - it is thick and substantial, not thin like those rubber ones with holes in them. This is thick fiber (about 1/2 inch) with rubber coating on one side. My rugs feel softer and thicker on these pads. The rugs do not move AT ALL on these pads. Great product!

I have purchased one of the premium rug pads for all of my area rugs and they are well worth the money. These rug pads prevent rugs sliding on hard surface floors, they make walking on the area rugs softer, and according to this website, they prolong the life of the area rug which I happen to believe. I would definately recommend to anyone.

Very happy with the product. Perfect to place under thick wool carpets. Can easily be cut to fit exact size needed.

I have only had this a few weeks so I cannot comment on its durability yet. So far it has performed well, was easy to lay down and cut, and is a nice feel under the rug.

I purchased this rug pad based on all the rave reviews here. While it is nice and thick and offers great cushion under your rug, unfortunately this product has some real problems that no one has mentioned. First of all the rubber backing is 100% Latex which produces a foul odor that smells like burning rubber. Unfortunately this chemical odor does not go away with time, nor with letting it air out for a few days outdoors. The warmer the room got, the worse the smell was. Many people are allergic to latex and if you are at all sensitive to chemical odors, then do not purchase this rug pad! There are other rug pads available here at Overstock that use organic or non-latex materials. The other (albeit minor) complaint is that the felted portion of the rug constantly sheds loose fibers. I have already vacuumed and dusted three times and there are still little airborne fibers everywhere--besides being a cleaning nuisance, the fibers get in your eyes and on your skin. Sorry to say this rug pad is going back.

We have tile floors and the rug pad really makes our floor rug more comfortable for those times when you have to sit on the floor.

Product was exactly what I needed for an uneven stone floor. My carpet feels very plush on top of this pad. The pad has nonskid on one side and fiber on the other. It did not smell rubbery or otherwise weird when I unpacked it, and it was very easy to roll out and place.

I've had these pads for only a couple of weeks, but they seem to be okay. They are kind of messy (lint) right now, but otherwise okay. I ordered two, and one arrived in 4 days, but the other one took almost two weeks. Go figure! They are nice and thick. I didn't want to get rubber or polypropylene pads because I had read they might discolor my hardwood floor. These should work for that purpose.

Not as plush as I thought it would make my carpet feel, but then it may depend on how thick the carpet is to begin with. I am using it under a wool rug I bought from Overstock.com and the rug is already pretty thick. I don't have a pad under the same rug-just smaller-and it's hard to tell much difference. However, it definitely keeps the rug in place and does add some cushion to my tile floors and I'd probably buy it again.

I bought this rug pad and was very glad I did. I had purchased a large rug from Overstock and I needed the rug to last. I put the rug on the pad, I had to cut the pad to size.Very easy to cut. The results were excellent. The rug looks good and it is so nice to have the extra padding under your feet. Good investment.

i needed a couple of pads to protect my hardwood floors, and i didn't want those sticky drawer liner types. these pads were exactly what i wanted, and the cushioning is really nice. the carpet doesn't move at all.

I had wood floors installed this summer and was regretting them due to the slippery furniture. I tried putting my rug down, but the rug was getting all twisted. I decided to try the rug pad to keep my floors from getting scratched and to keep the rug from getting pulled out of shape. I didn't have much hope. I thoughtI was wasting my money, even as I purchased it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The pad has stopped the rug from moving, the rug keeps the furniture from moving. I have enjoyed walking on the rug barefoot, since it is so plush with the pad under it. I would have paid more for this if I had known how it would relieve my problem. As for the size, it is EASILY trimmed with a regular pair of scissors. It was so easy ,it is not even an issue. Thanks Overstock for such a great product (again).

The carpet pad was easy to cut to adjust to my rug and adds to the walking comfort. It wasn't quite as plush as I hoped but still works fine.

As with other overstock purchases made in the past.....the product arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The rug pad was easy to cut to the proper size and once in place provides a thick pad for my area rug. Would recommennd this product. Don't cheap out on less quality, but you don't need to overpay either.

I got this rug pad after reading the tons of positive reveiws and what i found was that it was extremely overrated. 1. I wanted the thickest pad possible as I wanted to make my carpet feel softer and thicker and according to some of the reviews it was rated as 1/2 inch thick and very heavy to move due to this. what i got was no where near 1/2 inch and I am a female with a BMI of 20 who moved it alone. 2. it was the most expensive rug pad offered so i am dissapointed as i expected more. 3. it does make my carpet feel slightly thicker underfoot but not alot. 4. i would recommend this if someone needs only minimally increased thickness and is looking more for the non-slip purpose.
