This pad is really high quality and does just what it says. I am using it on carpet with a heavy Chinese wool area rug over it. The area rug now stays in place and feels wonderful to walk on. The dining room table and chairs are on top of the rug and, believe it or not, the chairs move more easily with the rug on the pad than they did without the pad. The pad was a little too big and I had to trim it with a box cutter. I couldn't manage it with scissors because of the thickness of the pad. Pad is very heavy and it took two people to manage the 8 x 10 size.

This is a very high quality rug pad at a reasonable price. It arrived very quickly. It is nice and thick and added some nice extra cushion to my rug. I would buy this again in the future.

This is a great product. I have used this type of pad before and it is hard to find and when you find them it cost as much as the rug. This is great as it can be used on carpet as well as hard surfaces.

I needed a new rug pad for my new living room rug that I purchased at Overstock (the rug was great too) so I sought out a new pad here too. The pad arrived quickly, was packed well, it holds my rug in place well and just the right cushion under the feet. The convenience of ordering a rug pad is great instead of having to go out to a store and haul it back home - an 8x10 is not easy. Thanks Overstock for having these available.

I recently purchased an 8 x 10 area rug that slid all over my hardwood floors and was much thinner than I had hoped for. This rug pad really made an improvement. It is much more comfortable to step on now and it does not slide.There were only three downsides to the pad:1) It comes folded up in a box instead of rolled so it doesn't lay down flat so well at first. 2) It is not really 8 x 10 -- it was about 4 inches too short and about 2 inches too wide for my rug. Cutting it wasn't much fun either. I have Cutco Super Shears (they can cut a penny in half) and I still had a bit of difficulty cutting it. 3) It is super heavy and kind of a pain to maneuver. Other than that, the rug pad is GREAT and I'm happy I bought it. A similar rug pad would have cost me about $120 plus S&H so Overstock.com really gave me a great deal here!
