This pad is really high quality and does just what it says. I am using it on carpet with a heavy Chinese wool area rug over it. The area rug now stays in place and feels wonderful to walk on. The dining room table and chairs are on top of the rug and, believe it or not, the chairs move more easily with the rug on the pad than they did without the pad. The pad was a little too big and I had to trim it with a box cutter. I couldn't manage it with scissors because of the thickness of the pad. Pad is very heavy and it took two people to manage the 8 x 10 size.

this rug pad is thick enough to provide some padding but not so thick that you trip over it. also my rug hasn't shifted at all since i put it down, which had been bugging me. the price for the pad was much better than i found locally & the low shipping cost can't be beat. arrived quickly & i was able to trim to size with regular scissors. i'm quite happy with it!

OK, I'm on a jag putting new pads under our old rugs. This one, the "premium," is the best so far, just a nicer feel than the "superior" rug pad. That was my big question, and I have to figure someone else is wondering as well. This one is lovely, cuts easily enough, rates five stars from a picky woman. Makes a huge difference in how things feel underfoot, and after using these I would not even consider the thin "webby" rug pads.

This rug pad works, no moving around and no bunching up - not even a little bit. It was easy to cut to size and makes the Antique Kashan Wool rug we purchased very comfortable to lay & watch TV on.

This is the second premium rug pad I have bought on overstock, and I love them. They are so thick and keep the rug neatly in place. Highly recommend this pad.
