I have purchased one of the premium rug pads for all of my area rugs and they are well worth the money. These rug pads prevent rugs sliding on hard surface floors, they make walking on the area rugs softer, and according to this website, they prolong the life of the area rug which I happen to believe. I would definately recommend to anyone.
I am pleased with this purchase. Definately no skid pads with soft flat texture that the carpet sits on. Nice pads that work well with low to high quality rugs. It worked naturally nice with the high quality rugs I bought from Overstock, but I also tried it with an old thin rug and they worked just as well.

I have had this pad and three 8X10' for over 2 years and they are awesome! I have 3 large dogs and the rugs stay in place and leave no discoloring on my hard wood floors. Seriously, I would never buy anything else, they are great and an absolute steal given their price.
