I purchased this blanket at the beginning of the summer, when my down comforter became too much. If you purchase this, don't expect to get a comforter with a lot of loft; this is a lightweight blanket with a small amount of down filling (only 18 oz. in queen blanket). POSITIVES: It's just the weight and warmth I like for summer nights. The color is very nice (the photo in the listing is pretty close to the reality, at least for the green blanket). The size is good (I bought a queen size for my queen bed, and it fits well). NEGATIVES: Only one, really. Other reviewers described the blanket as "noisy." I didn't know what they meant, but they were right. There's something about the weave of the fabric that causes it to "rustle" when it moves. (Think of multiple petticoats under a full skirt, that kind of sound.) It's not enough to make me stop using the blanket, but it isn't quite the luxurious feel that the description indicates. I have not yet washed or dry-cleaned the blanket, so I don't know if the fabric will soften with age. OVERALL: I am quite satisfied with this blanket and would recommend it to others.

Bought this for my 16 year daughter who fell in love with a $356 comforter set that I couldn't afford. We were able to duplicate the look of the designer set using this blanket as the color base. We added one designer pillowcase to the mix of this blanket to get the look she wanted. Thanks to overstock I could make her dream bedroom a reality!

I love this blanket and particularly the lightness of it. I had a much heavier one which is to hot for Southern California. This one is perfect!

This blanket is the perfect summer weight, but i really cannot recommend it because it leaves feathers everywhere.

This arrived in perfect shape. I was very pleased with the quality, weight and texture of it. I bought the full size for a queen size bed, because I just wanted all the "fluff" to be on top of the bed. Perfect!!

I was a bit disappointed with the overall quality, color and feel of this comforter. The feathers are escaping as I write and are visible through the fabric. My suggestion is either a lower price for this item or eliminating it as an option on this website.

I was looking for an inexpensive down blanket for the summer, but was unsure about getting the purple color. When it arrived, the color was the soft color pictured, and the 230 thread count fabric is very soft - not crinkly. A satin binding provides a rich looking finish. Although I haven't used the blanket yet ( I bought it for the summer so am still using my down comforter), the fill and distribution of down looks good. I'm very pleased with the purchase - well worth the price for the well-known name brand product.

Love the blanket, with one reservation. When you first put it on, it's very cold to the touch. Similarly to first getting in between the sheets in bed, you have to wait a few seconds before you can truly start to warm up. Shifting to a new position often means waiting until the new section of blanket warms up as well. Other than that, this blanket keeps you very warm! Plus, it's pretty enough to leave out when company is visiting. I'm very satisfied with it.

I love this blanket. Hoping for the comfort and cozy feel of a recent hotel stay in a Nashville hotel, I ordered this down blanket. I wasn't looking for a lot of warmth because we live in Florida. This blanket is perfect, just snuggle in and you're ready for a good sleep!

From the picture I expected the blanket to be soft. The blanket fabric is a bit stiff and SOUNDS like it is lined with a plastic tarp! I was actually quite disappointed. I was hoping with a little use it would soften. This is not the case. I should have returned it, My husband and I can't help but chuckle when we pull it up to cover ourselves. It is the NOSIEST blanket we have ever purchased. I regret this purchase.

I just received this "blanket" yesterday and am extremely disappointed. There is almost no down fill inside and it appears more like a down sheet than a blanket. It is thin and the "sweet purple" color is off from what is shown. I am returning this to overstock.com for refund. Do not waste your money, if you are looking for a good down blanket or comforter, spend a little more to get better quality.

This product's finish quality isn't as good as previous down purchases. There were lots of loose threads left hanging at end of quilting seams. The fabric does emit 'noise' when turning over. My other purchases did not have this quirk. It doesn't affect the effectiveness of its warmth however. We've gone from two blankets to one with this blanket. I would recommend this blanket, but be prepared to do some thread trimming when it arrives.

I purchased this same blanket originally about two years ago on Overstock. I promptly bought four for the other beds in my home and some as gifts. The blanket is very warm, although lightweight. The down stays in place even after years of use. I returned to Overstock to purchase this blanket for my daughter at college, her request. Would purchase again when and if I ever need more.

This blanket is so comfortable it's amazing. Someone had mentioned that the blanket rustles a bit when you move but to me that is not at all noticeable. It is not so warm that you sweat, it's just comfortable. I have not cleaned it as yet so I do not know whether the feathers will lump together but it is an incredible value for the money.

Well, I wanted to wait a couple of weeks after using this blanket before writing a review.I have done so and I'm still just as impressed as I was when I opened the box when it arrived.Its lightweight, comfortable, and of nice quality. I'm ordering another one in different color.I'm very pleased with this blanket. I live in the Florida Keys and we seldom need a blanket.This is just perfect for a warmer climate. I recommend this blanket to anyone in the tropics.

As most of the reviewers have mentioned, this is a light weight comforter. I tend to run hot anyway, so this is perfect for me. I don't like the heavier comforters except in winter. This is a great spring/fall comforter and looks great also. I think I heard some people mention this is a loud comforter. I don't think it is overly noisy. It does make some noise, but not a lot. It won't wake you up.
