I bought this as I was starting to strip paint off furniture and it did a great job in my opinion. I only used the high setting since I had 3 layers of paint to get through. Biggest downside to the item is the attachments that come with it, they are very thin metal. The scrapper attachment couldn't hold up to any pressure before bending out of shape. But using a separate wider scrapper works out better anyway. Overall it is a very good tool that I'm happy to add to my collection.

I have been using this product for almost a year now and have found nothing wrong with it. It works just fine for what I bought it for, and that is putting the little white screws in on outlet covers. The batteries last a very long time, as long as you are not straining it. The battery department is vary easy to get to, no screws to have to take out. And it is geared just right for what I'm doing with it. It is a slow but powerful gear setting. It has a forward and reverse, and a locking function for screws that need a little more torque. The product arrived on time and in good shape, and well packaged.

I use a large rechargable drill at home now, but it sometimes is a bit heavy. Now I can use this with ease to get the job done.

I have bought many refurbished items from Overstock and this was the first that definitely looked pre-owned. There was a gash in the plastic, which was very ragged and aged-looking and no instruction manual was included. That said, we looked to You Tube for some idea of how these drills work in general (Hitachi does not at this time have manuals on their web site), and my husband turned out to be very pleased with it. We should not drywall - don't have the joint compound thing down - but THIS aspect of the job was a pleasure, thanks to this tool. I would give it 5 stars if there had been a manual or it had looked brand new, as the usual refurbished stuff here DOES. Nevertheless, I would recommend it to anyone.

What can you say about a hose? The fittings fit and he hose hosed. :-) That being said, the service was great and the price was a bargain. I had ordered it from another supplier. They said they would send it out that day,. the following for sure. After a month, I checked and they said they were sorry, they would send it out Friday or Monday for sure. Two months later, still no hose. After the third try, I gave up and found this site. Immediate shipment and less expensive. Glad the first place didn't ship. :-)

My honeybunny was quite happy to find he wouldn't have to sharpen those darned blades by hand anymore ~ I didn't even know these existed until I stumbled upon the item in the tools section. What a great find!

I bought this router to whittle down my three dog's toenails, believe it or not. I have two big dogs and one little tiny dog. None of them like having their nails clipped. Many times, I would snip too close on one of my dog's nails and she would bleed. Horrible! So, I decided to try the router route. I wanted something that would last, have plenty of power and that I could use for other things beside just giving my dogs pedicures. This router comes with a flexible shaft extender, which is really nice. I didn't even really realize it came with this set or even what it was. Now, I know. It is nice for the dogs, because I don't have to get the motor too close to them, which can freak them out. This works great for their nails, so I am very happy. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the instructions were not very good for a newbie like me, but I eventually figured it out.

The only comment I have about this drill is that it does not come with a drill bit. Seeing as I have never bought a drill before, I did not know that. I've only used it to hang curtains so I'm not sure how it would hold up with big jobs. For hanging curtain rods, it worked just great!

Easy set up; good clear instructions. I am able to sharpen 3 blades in less time than I could do one before with much greater accuracy.

Needed a saw to do small jobs around the house. It did the job on baseboards for my basement. Only complaint is that sawdust didn't collect in the bag that is provided to keep the job cleaner. As well the mitre angles were hard to see on the miter cut on the back of saw. Otherwise it was great.

Bought this to reshape PVP pipe and it works great. Blows real hot and the fact that you have two settings is cool.

This is a replacement tool for one I had for years. Tons of Bts and easy to change out. Have not had to use it yet but it looks like it will handle my next small project.

If you frequently use a power drill in your home improvement or automotive projects, you may know the basics of drill safety already. A power drill is one of the most useful tools you can have in your home. Power drills come in a huge range of styles and feature many capabilities, from screwing craft projects together to full-blown construction applications. A wet saw is a useful power tool for anyone who will be cutting tile. Wet saws achieve a clean cut without breaking the tile by using a diamond-encrusted blade that rotates the saw through a pan of water as it cuts. The water keeps the saw blade cool, which prevents tile breakage and helps protect the saw's motor. Some wet saws are also capable of cutting through dense metals and brick. For a single weekend project, renting a power tool such as a wet saw may be more economical than purchasing one, but if you'll be cutting tile more than a time or two, owning one of these handy power tools is worth the investment.
