Although I have not really had the opportunity to use the vacuum part (it does work, I checked), the rest of the blower works well and I am pleased I finally made the purchase.
great refurbished product. would buy again. thanks
If you are looking to empty out your wallet on a blower that, if you are lucky, will last one season...then this is the blower for you! I used a Weed Eater for a few years, then forgot to run the tank dry and winterize it. It was gummed up come the following Spring...so, off to Walmart to buy another...well I bought this Poulan and it lasted all of one season. It started getting hard to start, then one day just refused to start. I dumped the fuel, mixed up fresh 40:1 and thought "OK, now we'll be golden"...nope just refuses...I've checked the plug...bought a new one...no changes...pulled off the carb...flushed it with carb cleaner and compressed air...cleaned the air filter...still wont even sound like it wants to start. Mr.FixYa says they are known for bad ignition coils...one guy replaced 3 of them...that's poor design in my book...next time I'll buy a Stihl....my Stihl chainsaw just keeps on running., bet their blowers do too!
I bought one of these and it is pure, substandard junk. It started falling apart in the first season I used it. I was using it as a leaf vac; it might work fine as a blower, but it's horrible as a leaf vac. The strap on the bag broke. The tube broke. Part of the internal housing is made of cheap, flimsy plastic, and it allows dirt and debris to fly right into your face while vacuuming. After a few starts, it begins to get difficult to start it, and the engine runs poorly. Oh yeah, and I paid about the same as Overstock is charging to buy it NEW.
Great product: starts easily, blows @ 220mph so it really takes care of a mountain of leaves on our farm property.
The instructions for operation is simple and accurate and the product performs as it was advertised. Light and easy to handle
