This product was a present for my husband at Christmas. He could not have been happier. Excellent quality and a must for the housewarming or wedding present or the young people moving away. Can't go wrong with this.

The wok is a really good quality. You do have to season it, which you have to do with any carbon steel pan.

Normally I expect good quality from Overstock. This pan did not live up to my expectations. It is very shallow, has thin walls, the basket is flimsy, and it is constucted poorly. The problem with the construction is that when the basket is put in the pot, the handles prevent you from putting the lid down (say, in case of a grease fire). If the handles are pushed inwards, you can close the lid, but then the handles will be down in the boiling oil. The pot is so shallow that I doubt you could cook more than 2-3 pieces of chicken at a time. So, I would skip this purchase. In fact, I returned mine.

I purchased these pans, and after two uses and hand washing the large pan lost its non-stick qualities. I did not us the smallest pan, and only used the middle pan once. So I do not know if this was a fluke or not. I returned all the pans.

We bought this pan as a replacement for a Lodge cast iron pan of the same size as my wife has a problem lifting the heavier skillet. While this lighter pan cooks great, we noticed that the center of the pan bottom has crowned and is not flat. This becomes a problem if one is frying cutlets or other thin items. The oil forms around the outside edge leaving the center high and dry.

The first pan I received ws not flat so it rocked on top of my ceramic top stove. If it were a gas stove with a grate top, it might not have been an issue but for an electic stove, I wouldn't recommend it. However, the replacement pan I just received in exchange is in fact flat on the bottom. However, the 10" pan and it's replacement were both not flat so I will be returning it.

We were truly disappointed inthis product. Despite being labeled as non-stick professional pans, they were horrible. As I said, they discolor quickly, and even on low and medium heat, eggs, grilled sandwiches and meats stuck to the pan. We had to coat them in oil to lessen the ability to stick.

I love my new Ceramic Nonstick frypans. It takes very little oil (I use 1 TBS) to pan fry foods. And cleaning up is a breeze. Just wipe with a paper towel, rinse with soap and water, dry thoroughly. I use low-med heat and save energy too.
