This is a great idea. I had just bought new pans and didn't want them getting scratched up by stacking them and this was just what I needed. However if you have a cabinet that has a slide out drawer above you will not be able to put anything on the top shelf of the rack, but that doesn't bother me.

A lot of the pot racks are pretty ugly and gawdy. This one has more than enough space and takes little room. The product was missing pieces and, once again, Overstock got right on it and got them to me quickly. I always look here first, they stand behind their products and have excellent customer service.

I bought two pot racks from this company for my summer home, and they have worked out very well; so I was pleased to find one that would work in my other kitchen. Very sturdy, great looking, too. I have at least 5 or 6 cast iron skillets, plus numerous other lighter weight pots and pans safely hanging, The high ceiling slopes in this kitchen, so we added some heavy chain to hang it from, and it worked perfectly. Easy to install - but you must hang from a beam or joist. But the hooks for hanging are thoughtfully spaced 32" apart so it is easy to install into wood. I love the look - straightforward, not cutesy, functional but elegant, too.

  • Compact size good, poor construction

This isn't very sturdy and the metal rings don't do much to stabilize it--nor do they fit in the frame very well. However, the the compact size is handy--I keep mine on top of the refrigerator next to the stove. Great for pans. The fit is a little tight on the two center rings and I have to wiggle a larger pot in and out. Nor is it much good for storing domed lids. But it does organize my most frequently used pots and pans nicely at a fraction of the size and price of a full pot rack.

I love this alternative way to store and display my thing though...there is not enough room for my lids to sit on pans upright...had to turn them over.
