I bought this for a guest bedroom. I ordered it on Friday and received by the next Tuesday. It was wrapped in plastic rolled up in another plastic bag. I was able to drag it to where I wanted it. It is not very thick. Eight inches is eight inches. I had a guest stay right away and he said that he slept well. I recently slept on it two days in a row and found it to be quite comfortable. Bottom line it is an economy mattress that was delivered to my door and does the trick. Can't beat that.

So I have been sleeping on an air mattress for the past week and I was better off going with that until I could afford the foam mattress offered by Overstock.com. Seriously, I have just woken up with lower back and neck pain. HORRIBLE! However, I think I'm just going to buy a foam mattress topper and live with it. There are NO returns, so I have no other choice.

The mattress arrived as expected based on previous reviews (rolled up in wrapping). It was easy to take out and put on the bed, no odor (this was mentioned in previous reviews), seems to be decent enough quality, especially given the price. Hopefully it lasts a few years as a guest mattress and for my son's bunk bed.

This has to be the worst product ever created and I find it quite appalling that Overstock carries such a product. I am in my mid-twenties (never had back problems or any sort of body aches), slept on this mattress and I have been in such pain for the month I have been using it and I finally chucked it to buy a mattress (something I should have done a long time ago).You could feel every single coil protruding in the mattress and digging into your back as you slept. It may honestly be the most brutal sleep condition ever.I strongly strongly urge anyone thinking about purchasing this mattress to reconsider. You'd be better off sleeping on gravel.

Mattress arrived within a week and a half of ordering. Mattress was wrapped in two layers of protective plastic coating which had to be removed. Mattress had strong paint-like odor, which gradually dissipated after several days of airing out. Once mattress had aired, it was placed on box spring and performed to specifications. Mattress is comfortable firm but not springy or squishy, not appropriate for those who require greater softness or have back problems.

The mattress came filthy on the sides, and smelled horrible (nothing organic shall we say, just a very chemical smell). It looked like it was dragged around the warehouse with no protective plastic covering before being shipped to me. It's passing comfortable to lay on.

Decent inexpensive mattress, nice & firm. Did not "puff up" as advertised. Even a few days out of the box, there is still room for the mattress to inflate. I bought this w/o boxspring for a platform bed. 8 inch mattress makes the bed too short, so I had to get a separate 3 inch foam mattress topper too. This is for a guest room, and no one has slept on it yet, so can't gauge comfort level for a ful night's sleep.

I've had a futon for 11 years. It was a good, thick futon mattress, not one of those really cheap ones, but every time I slept on an actual mattress with springs the past few years it made me really want to get one. Perhaps I'm not the best judge after all those years without, but this mattress is great for me. The price was great and it came right to my apartment door rolled up and easy to move!I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

Bought this little guy for a guest bedroom, and so far no complaints. It comes rolled in a bag, but don't fear; it unrolls into perfect shape. Mattress is on the firmer side and is one sided, so if you like a soft mattress or if you'll be using it as your main bed, I'd look elsewhere.
