These curtains are exactly as described. I'm very happy with them. The color is a dove gray/slate, a wonderful neutral with a subtle sheen to the fabric. The fabric itself is soft with a nice substantial weight, and the curtain is gray on both sides. The photo used does not do them justice.

While these draperies in beige do darken the room, they do not black it out. In fact, when the sun shines directly through the window, I can see a shadow of the window panels quite clearly. (Layering a second drapery under these made the shadows disappear, however, so I suppose you might get a blackout effect that way.) The color is exactly as it appears on my monitor: a warm. yellow-toned beige. I would even call it very light camel. Do check the sizes before you open the packages: although they are sold as a a "set of 2," what you actually get is two separately packaged panels. I ordered two sets in 108" and received three 108" panels and one 96" panel!

A very intense morning Florida sun would beat in even through our wood blinds and make it extremely difficult to sleep in! We had searched and searched but couldnt quite find something that not only suit our taste but also blocked out the sun! I decided to take a chance on Overstock because friends have told me they were always pleasantly surprised! These shades were absolutely perfect! Better than I expected! I am going to purchase 4 more sets for the rest of my house!

I work nights and having a dark room to sleep in is very important to me. At night, the room gets pitch black, in the daytime the room is dark enought for me to get adequate rest. The also help to control the temperature in the room.

These curtains were for my bedroom. We like to sleep in sometimes and the morning sun kept us from doing so. These curtains not only keeps the room dark, but we have already noticed the difference in the room temperature. I am thrilled about these curtains! I bought a pair months ago for my bedroom since I like to sleep in. They don't block out all the light, but much more than the sail cloth curtains I had before. They arrived with creases/wrinkles from being folded up in the package, but 5 minutes in the dryer took care of that. These curtains are higher in quality than what I was expecting, especially for the price. I like them so much I recently purchased a second pair for my dining room.

I needed these curtains to block out light from the sides of the blinds where the light leaks in (mostly for nighttime). Our windows are 101" long (and lots of them) so it was difficult to find curtains, especially ones that didn't cost a fortune! After looking everywhere, I found these at Overstock. They are actually quite elegant looking and very reasonably priced.

These drapes are gorgeous and an absolute steal for the price Overstock offers. I ordered 2 sets of the 108" drapes and the picture online cannot do them justice. They are made with a thick material that has a low luster sheen, which I prefer. I don't like overly shiny material. The stitching isn't perfect but there are no loose seams, and the areas that have some back stitching are hardly noticeable since the thread blends so well with the drapes. There were a lot of cut threads that I had to pick off the drapes but again none of it was from damaged stitches. These drapes look much more expensive than what I paid for them and I am so glad I purchased these!

I am very satisfied with these curtains. I only ordered one panel for each window in our guest bedroom. The light does come in a bit in the morning, but it offers the privacy we needed. The fabric of the curtains is incredibly soft and smooth...almost silk-like! I was very surprised at the quality we received considering the low price!

nice curtains! i get migrains and needed curtains i could shut quickly and would block out the light. these are great! not having the white cloth on the backside, makes it nice from both inside the house and outside. they did not need to be ironed or any creases tended to coming out of the package. that was very good for me. I got the off white (eggshell) and they do a very good job in blocking out the light for the price. very happy

We are renters and didn't want to spend too much on window treatments, but the plastic vertical blinds were an eyesore AND not very effective in blocking out strong morning light streaming through the floor to ceiling glass door to our south-facing bedroom balcony. We wanted something that would solve our problem here, and that we could imagine using in a future home. This darkens the room well AND it is a neutral color that I think could work in our next home.

These definitely block out most (80%) of the light, but they aren't blackout curtains. There is no liner, just the dark material of the curtain, so there will always be a little light bleeding through. For the price you can beat them though!!
