The char legs easily split and the chair seats always come undone......served their purpose but will need to replace them!

the product is cheap in appearence and substance. In addition it arrived damaged and we are still waiting for a replacemnet parts. We purcahsed from Overstock other products and they were fine this chairs were an awfull experince

great value but slightly complex to assemble - still is easy . very comfortable and go well with small exspesso table.

These chairs are beautiful. They were delivered quickly and were very easily assembled. They seem quite sturdy and we love the expresso brown color. I would reccommend this item.

The description says the finish is "Espresso" but the box noted the chairs were actually black. Sure enough, they are slightly different in color from my dining table, which is espresso, but it's only noticeable on sunny days and the light shines in my dining room. Also, the boxes were missing some hardware, which meant I had to go down to the store to try to match bolts and wood screws. Not very expensive but time consuming. Overall nice chairs and very sturdy.

Nice chairs. THe finish is more black then espresso but they look good and are good for price.

We bought the table and chairs. The legs broke off hree of the four chairs we bought in less than 2 months. Might work ok on hardwood floors but not on carpet!!!

I absolutely love the chairs. They look great at my diningroom table. I am 60 years old with arthritis and had no problem putting them together. The seats are comfortable and they are very sturdy. Thank you overstock.

I suppose you get what you pay for, and these were inexpensive. I bought 3 pairs and like other reviewers, I found the instructions and correct hardware lacking- which caused one of the chairs to splinter. Overstock responded quickly and the supplier shipped another chair - without hardware and the upholstered seat. Overstock responded again and sent another pair this time - by this time we had enough correct hardware and sent the excess parts back (at Overstock's expense). The supplier needs to be aware of the deficiencies, but as usual, Overstock provided outstanding customer service. The chairs are pretty comfortable and the right size for my table, but I don't expect them to hold up over time. I would recommend them only with these caveats.

there were 2 screws missing from the kit for both chairs, the back screw. it doesnt seem to make a difference in how sturdy they are, i guess time will tell. otherwise...the chairs came in a timely matter and were pretty easy to put together, and they look great!

I bought two sets of Portofino chairs for My Mom. The chairs are lovely but the screws were not the same size and did not fit. I had to hire a carpenter because the assembly was very challenging.
