Portofino Black 5-piece Dining Set

The chairs arrived first. I put one set together. Was easy enough once I started to get into the groove. They are comfortable and sturdy. Then the table arrived. Was not wrapped properly--3 corners were damaged (not even corners anymore really). Overstock couldn't be nicer. They tried to find a new table top, but were unable. So they decided to RMA the whole order. I had to take apart the chairs :-( and now have to send EVERYTHING back. I doubt I will order anything like this again. Not only was it a bit of a hassle, it was a disappointment.

I couldn't believe it - even though the site said approx. 3 weeks for delivery it arrived via UPS in 2 days! Thanks Overstock! Great service! Packaging is as follows: 2 chairs in each box and the table in another - easily handled and assembled by one person too (would have been a breeze with two people, though). We have a small dining area next to our kitchen and we needed something that would fit the scale of the room. It's not heavy duty but looks perfect and the chairs match our kitchen stools. My reason for the 4 star rating on workmanship is because the fabric on the seats could have been tighter (there are some noticeable wrinkles at the edge of a couple of the chairs) but that's a minor problem and the seats are easily recovered. Other than the fabric wrinkles, the quality is very good. If the dimensions work for you, this is a great deal.
