Portland 5 - piece Dining Set

This table looks more expensive than it costs. It has a great finish to it and does not have screws or nails visible on the sides of the chairs like some of the other comparable tables sets do on Overstock. The cherry finish is very rich red color. So if thats not what you want, beware. It is red. It was relatively easy to assemble. Table was definately easy. Took 10 minutes. The Chairs require more time but once you get the first its a breeze. The only bad thing I would say about this dining set is the fabric on the seat cusions. Its an off white color, not very appealing. But the worst is that the fabric itself is very cheap and unfinished looking. It definately brings the look down. I found an easy solution. Bought some fabric that would match my decor and a staple gun ($15) and recovered the seats. It was easy. Just take off seat cusions, wrap fabric around to the bottom & staple in place. Simple. Looks way better. I would recommend this table because it looks way more expensive & nice than it cost (only if you are up to a simple craft project though). If wasn't for the fabric I would have rated the dining set 5 stars.
