This couch broke on us in two weeks! Do not waste your money! It looked fantastic when put together, but the back leg just broke in two! We could tell it wasn't the best of quality when we took it out of the box, but we expected it would last at least a year or so...aesthetically, It's a lovely design, looks just like the picture, but the construction is very poor. You can tell by the way it is designed, that it may not hold human weight, and it doesn't!...My ten year old daughter just sat down on it, we heard a creeeeak, and then it collapsed! it is now schlumped in the corner of the room until we can decide what to do....returning it would be a hastle, so my husband is considering trying to reinforce it somehow...good grief!Read More
I was so excited to find a well designed couch at a great price. I got it and it was so easy to put together-but I received two pillow without covers and the fluff literally disintegrated in my hands. No matter, I thought, I didn't really love the pillows and it wasn't why I ordered this couch. I had it about a month before the back legs fell out when I moved the couch in my living room.Within all three months all legs had fallen off. I contacted overstock and they asked if I thought I could repair it myself. I figured that the threaded joint just came out of the supporting cross bar underneath the couch, So I told them I would try. Returning it and having to pack it would have been a giant pain, although after what it took to make it stable-I probably would have in hind sight. So, I took it down to my father-in laws amazing wood shop. My thought was a few clamps, some saw dust and wood glue would do the trick . Nope. First, I removed the front and back legs-that are two different lengths-thereby distributing the weight unevenly on the back legs, OK maybe that was why the back fell off so quickly, I can fix that with the sander. I then moved to the upholstery- once I pulled it back, it became apparent that the "supporting" wood where the legs screw into was completely unstable, seriously it was mind blowing. The OSB board that the leg screwed into was cracked around all four threaded pieces and HAD BEEN STAPLED AND GLUED BACK TOGETHER on the back right side (first piece to fall off). Not to mention that this board was only about 3/8' thick-entirely to thin to bear any weight-hence the cracking. In the end I, with a lot of help from the knowledgeable father in-law, took apart the bottom pieces added 2x4's across the bottom, drilled and and added threaded pieces in the correct locations. We then added a bit of leather trim along the bottom to cover the depth difference so that these new pieces didn't show, since the original purple would not have covered them. I then removed the male thread from the top of the front legs, cut the front legs down about 1/4 of an inch and sanded the remaining height off of them so that the legs sat with equal weight distribution, then replacing the threaded screw on top so that only height was lost-not the style of the castors. After all was done, the couch is a little high and honestly not really that comfortable to begin with, but at least it is no going to break. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS DESIGNER AGAIN. I have an overstock credit card and lot's of points, but for about 6 months I wondered if I should trust what they sell on their website after this purchase. I especially consider now how hard will this be to return if the quality is not up to par. What would I have done if I hadn't had a work shop to do all this in?Read More
I am please, quite please with the items I ordered from Overstock.com and already recommended it to friends.Read More

Shop All Sofas and Loveseats ▸ Microfiber:Microfiber is stain-resistant and comes in different textures. Some microfiber weaves are smooth, like suede, and others are denser, similar to corduroy. You may clean most microfiber with water, but check the manufacturer's tag because a few types of microfiber may require cleaning with a compatible solvent. Wool:For sofas, wool and wool blends are great because of their durability. They're less prone to pilling, snagging and wrinkling than other fabrics. Plus, wool is easy to spot-clean. Vacuum this natural fabric with a hand-held vacuum attachment to remove dust. Leather:Leather is a versatile sofa fabric; it can be elegant or totally casual. Its slick surface makes cleanups relatively easy. Beware if you have pets, as little claws can leave scratch marks. Scuff-repair solutions are available, and they can keep your kids' sofa looking good for years. In addition, a quick treatment with leather conditioner once or twice a year will keep the sofa soft and supple. Vinyl:Vinyl is just as versatile as leather and often has the same smart look, but at a much more affordable price. It's easy to clean, too: just spray it with water and wipe spills away. Vinyl isn't as snuggly as microfiber, but in a playroom, it will hold up to lots of abuse. Denim:Just because a sofa is upholstered in denim doesn't mean it'll look like your worn-out jeans. Just like a comfy pair of jeans, denim is sturdy and goes with everything. In addition, denim sofas are available in a rainbow of colors to match your kids' bedrooms or playroom.
