I purchased this to add seating to my Living Room. I needed seating in front of a picture window but I didn't want to sacrifice my view. This bench is perfect. Perfect height, beautiful pattern, and plenty of additional storage and seating. I have already purchased another one in brown for the Master Bedroom.

Good product. Hinged bench allows product to be placed flush against the wall, which is an excellent feature. Has WONDERFUL storage and the hinged lid closes down easily and without worrying about harming little ones. Bought two which I placed under a triple window to make a very long window seat/bed. One holds all the kiddos downstairs toys, the other holds blankets and pillows from the couch when not in use. Love the functionality. Only negative. The Paisley colors are a little dated and busy, but I can accept that. May even cover one day. Bottom line, a very functional piece.

I love this storage bench...it is beautiful, spacious and has very lovely muted colors which will fit in with alot of different color schemes. It also serves very nicely as a seating bench as it is well padded. Well worth money!!! I'm actually thinking of purchasing another for storage/seating in the living room.

Bench is great. I didn't buy to serve as extra seating. I bought the bench to store my son's toys - all of them fit!!

This storage bench worked perfectly for what we wanted - provides storage for extra blankets and pillows, adds a splash of color to the room. Upholstered fabric is a groovy paisley design, and the fabric has a nice finish. The color is accurately portrayed in the picture. It arrived in a few days, and was completely assembled except for easily screwing on the "feet".

I like the ottoman very much I thought the material was cotton and was surprised it was a poly blend and the color was much more muted that the picture but I love it I'm going to use it as my coffee talble and it fits perfectly.

I love the paisley print. The amount of storage is amazing! It opens with such ease. I like a firm seat and it gives me just that. Where I wanted it for, it was a perfect fit. Best price on Overstock, also.

I do like this thing. I purchased it to store my sweaters and it fits nicely under a window in the bedroom.........doesn't take up much space and holds all my sweaters. It is long and shallow, so I don't have to dig too much to find what I'm looking for. It was a great purchase and I'm thinking about another for storing mittens/hats near the door.

It still has an odor in the inside of the trunk like chemicals. It is however very accurate in the description. the fabric is a little busy and a touch dated but I am recovering it and was aware when I bought it.

I purchased this largely based on other reviews for the product and knowing that I wanted an ottoman with storage. The color(s) of the ottoman were accurately depicted and matched my sofa and love seat perfectly. This is a nice long ottoman with plenty of storage. I placed it in front of our gas fireplace (which had no hearth) and it is the perfect height to enjoy the heat of the fireplace. As others have said the fact that you can place this right against the wall and still open up the lid is great. I would highly recommend this ottoman.

LOVE IT!! I looked at this storage ottoman for a long time for my foyer and I am so glad I finally bought it! It fits the foyer space perfectly and is used to store school backpacks for my boys. No more school bags dropped on the floor! The bench is sturdy enough for them to sit on it while putting on their shoes, etc. It looks great and completely met my needs! The item arrived in a good box with a cover and the feet were very easy to screw in. One note - don't be alarmed by the funny smell when it arrives - just leave the top open for one day and it will go away.
