rmorgansd from So. California, Rating:4.0Great generators. I use several in my company. Keep the oil topped off, they run on little over 1/2 qt, so if it gets low you're in trouble. Buy a couple extra valve cover gaskets from Champion in CA, they're only $2.00 each.

frankmeri90 from New York, NY, Rating:5.0Excellent in all aspects. The cost and quality are well worth the purchase of this unit. I would highly recommend this portable RV generator for any home owner to purchase from over stock.

jdthomas6902 from Long Beach, WA, Rating:5.0I'm very pleased with our new Champion 3500 watt remote electric start generator. The price was lower than other sites I checked and the free shipping ($80.00 on another site) made it an even better deal. It was easy to assemble and started on the very first try. While it's not as quiet a Honda, it's definitely quieter that some other generators that I've seen. The remote start will make it a perfect companion for use with our travel trailer.

kennethpl from Largo, Fl, Rating:4.0DO NOT CLICK ON "JOIN CLUB O" until you have submitted review or you will loose all you wrote! It was a pain in the but to get shipping braces off. Took me over a day and a couple of trips to store for special tools. Wrench that was supplied just stripped bolt heads they were on so tight and moved generator with a closed end wrench (not supplied) Same getting bolts of for wheel kt. Ended up being a 2 day process. It did start 1st pull though. DO NOT put a quart of oil like it says it takes in it! Dip stick is also at an angle.I have not put a load on it but it does purr when started.not as load as expected. Aluminum Shipping brace was on so tight it was cracked and it was channeled!

dave11517 from San Jose, California, Rating:5.0This is my 3rd Champion generator. I bought the first one to power my house during electrical outages when I lived in a 1500sf house, I upgraded when I moved to a 3100sf house. This third one I bought to power my RV. It has just the right amount of power/noise level and fuel useage to keep me going 100%. The generator which originall came with my RV could not power the AC/TV and microwave or coffee maker simultaniously. This Champion generator barely even notices when I load it up. I get better run times per tank of gas than listed in the specfications. No leaks, easy to start (usually first pull) and quieter than I expected. I recommend using a fuel stabilizer when it is not in use for awhile, otherwise starting might be more difficult. I have over 100 hours on my home standby Champion generator and am still on the original spark plug.
