The dehumidifier is exactly as everyone mentioned. It's quiet, works in our basement quite well, and was easy to set up. No complains! This is why I love to buy things from overstock! The reviews are always the best and I'm never surprised when I purchase something!

Highly recommend this product. The small dehumidifiers do not work. Mold is highly dangerous, and can cost a lot to restore. Take PRECAUTIONS by putting dehumidifiers in your homes in lower levels, near books, stuffed animals, dolls, and porous materials !

Working perfectly in our bathroom, it removes a lot of moist and keep the tile from the mod. You know sometimes the vent fan won't do much work but this dehumidifier does!

We can't tell what we are happier about: the fine-tuned humidity control, or the cleaner air! We live in the country, with a damp and dusty (near a dirt road) that even with the windows closed, smelled dirty all the time. Man, after a day of running this Dehumidifier, the air was comfortable, and the room smelled cleaner. We're delighted.

This dehumidifier is working for my basement. I love the way it works. Automatically stops when there is no need for it. When I do my laundry it picks up a lot of water from the heavy stuff I usually hang to dry. I love it.

Good quality, much better then my old LG on. It is quiet as far as the compressor, but the fan is little louder then expected. But it works so well we dont mind it.

I bought this item for a weekend home that gets damp inside when it's humid outside. Just today it the humimdity level was 83% outside. I turned on this dehumidifer, set it to turbo, and within minutes I cool feel the air become drier and cooler. It is a bit noisy, as other reviews mentioned, but it's just white noise (like a fan). I love this little machine. I'll be using it a lot this summer and for the rest of the year.

This would be excellent for a space that is not occupied and does not need to be cool. It is noisy, and it blows hot air so if you are trying to cool a space at the same time, you would be working against it. I sent it back, it just didn't fit my needs.

I was a little concerned this unit would be really noisy - we have it in our former garage that was converted into office space . Thankfully, it's more just background "white noise" - not objectionable at all. It works very effectively and has enough different settings that you can keep the room at a consistent humidity level without any trouble. Our office space is comfortable and the former dampness and slight musty smell was completely gone within 48 hours of getting the unit set up and running. The space measures about 12 feet x 22 feet and this unit handles the humidity perfectly for that size space. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

This dehumidifier does the job it is suppose to. I gave it four stars because it has a loud-humming noise (which is expected) and it was a bit pricey whereas I could have gone elsewhere and spent less for the same features. We put the dehumidifier in our basement since our summer has been so humid, we had to empty it twice a day. I could definitely feel the difference and the smell of mold is no longer present. Overall this product is good.

After reading the other positive reviews for this product, I decided this was the one I should purchase. I am glad I did! Very easy to set up and start, easy to remove water container and dump out water, and very easy to roll around to different locations (I do not have a very big house). We had a LOT of rain in Iowa during the month of June and my house was definitely humid and damp (even with the A/C running). In just a matter of a day, the house smelled so much better! I like the humidity monitor on the unit. Others mentioned how loud the unit is, but you get used to it and the white noise is great for sleeping. It's a sturdy unit and should give me many years of use.

This unit needs to rest for 24 hours after arrival, but after that, all you have to do is plug it in and enjoy the results. We are using it in our basement, where we have a sump pump and washer and dryer. In just a day or so, the air was fresh and comfortable. The dry air makes it comfortable to use our exercise equipment in our home gym, so that is an added bonus.

This is one of the best purchases ever. The dehumidifier works fantastic!! Ou home is small and stands on an open foundation, which means in the spring/summer there is a slight odor of humudity. However, I truly hope this summer this product will help that odor. We have it on everyday for about 6 -8 hours and it works extremely well!!!

I'm very pleased with my purchase. I was skeptical at first since it cost more than I was expecting to spend but it was worth it. It gets extremely humid in my apartment, it was so bad that I started to notice mold and my comforter would get clammy. Since I've been using this product I've noticed a difference. I couldn't believe how much moisture was pulled out of the air. The unit has wheels so it's easily portable from room to room. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because of the downside is it is a bit loud so I usually turn it on when I'm not in the room. Other than that it does exactly what I hoped it would do and I'm happy I decided to purchase it.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this unit is a little bit on the loud side. I can't imagine being in the same room and not getting irritated. But if your purpose is to "leave it and forget it", this unit does the job. My room has a small roof leak that needs to be taken care of so during this rainy season, dampness and moisture has been a real issue. After using this unit for a few days, the room is definitely feeling dryer and not as damp smelling.

I bought it for a rental unit that has constant moisture and mildew problems. I tried it out for a while at home before giving it to the renters, and it seems like a quality appliance. It was a little loud for my liking, but I don't know how it compares to others since its the only dehumidifier I've ever used. Since it's been in the apartment, the tenants haven't complained about the noise, and they claim it has reduced the moisture condensing on the windows throughout their 600 square ft. apt. It remains to be seen if it solves the mildew issues, but I'm optimistic. I may have to wait until next winter to know for sure.
