This is an awesome induction tabletop burner. The actual brand is Sunpentown (not listed here at Overstock) and product line is called Mr. Induction. We used it for shabu shabu hot pot cooking. No heat emited from the burner (cool to the touch). Just make sure your pot is either cast iron or stainless steel in order for the water to heat up. The water heats up fairly quick. Easy to operate and it comes with different settings. I spent a lot of time researching induction cooktop before buying this one. Go for it if you are looking induction cooktop.

Very functional - just be sure you have pans that a magnet will stick to - the stronger the attraction the better. Some of my stainless pans having a copper center didn't. Really like it to use on island separate from stove-top. Very convenient.
