This lamp is compact as well as attractive.
I recently redecorated my bedroom and didn't want a standard lamp. During my search for additional bedside lighting, I came across these adorable little lamps which not only figured into my decor, but also give off warm and ample lighting.

Uplight Art
I bought this light because the house we bought does not have overhead lighting. (the kitchen being an exception) The switch in each room goes to one outlet. For my bedroom the outlet for the switch was on the opposite wall from my bed. I needed a simple light to put on my dresser to plug into the outlet that goes to the switch. It works great. It looks like a piece of art on my dresser. I did not want another traditional lamp in my bedroom. (already had one on each nightstand) When you turn on the switch it gives the room a nice, warm glow; but still enough light to see into the room. The only negative was the light is made in China, not Italy like I thought.

A Good Buy
This uplight casts a warm glow from a stunningly beautiful cylinder. It looks more like an object d'art than a lamp. A welcome addition to the ambiance of the room. This is NOT a reading lamp! Highly recommended. Plug in and flip the switch - can't get much easier.

Porcelaino lamp
I ordered this lamp for my spare bedroom. It looks okay but I'm not too crazy about it. I thought it would be bigger.
