We bought 2 of these Pop-up drain assemblies at the exact same time. Neither was the same out of the box. One has a very poor design and inferior quality workmanship. The extension pipe threads internally into the pop-up assembly. It has poor workmanship and it is nearly impossible to stop water leakage from this connection point. The other problem is the O ring in the pop-up assembly. It leaks and prevents the vessel from holding water. You can't just go down and replace the O ring either because they are specific to the pop-up assembly. BTW, the other assembly is a completely different design that works perfectly.

I too am having problems with the seal below the sink. The silicone rubber gasket just does not want to stop water from coming through the threads. A very nice piece that is cheapened by a 10 cent gasket.I am going to try some plumbers putty to seal it and if that doesn't work I will use a bead of silicone caulk and seal it up permanently.

We bought this to go with our oil rubbed bronze faucet and vessel sink. It looks great! My husband installed everything and said to mentioned that the instructions are vague, and that so far the seal is not 100%. There is still some leaking...

My problem with this item is that it popped up when I bought my sink
but didn't fit when I went to install the sink. This was several months later
and I don't think I can return it now. The product seemed great if it had fit.

Perfect fit, would recommend to anyone who has a vessel sink and wants a high quality stopper. It was almost 2 1/2 times more expensive at the local store...Thank goodness for OVERSTOCK!

I had purchased a vessel sink that came with a drain but in the wrong finish for my bathroom. I was looking for a replacement drain in oil-rubbed bronze but was appalled at the prices. I found these drains on Overstock.com and couldn't believe they were what I needed because the price was so low. I ordered it anyway (at that price it couldn't hurt) and it was exactly right! Very nice pop-up drain and looks beautiful with my sink.

The copper pop-up sink drain arrived when I expected and was very nice, looked like the picture on web site. All hardware was included. The price was OK, not much different than buying local, but hard to find this item locally. I will use Overstock.com again.

I really like the mushroom pop-up in my sink. I don't have to worry about it getting stuck closed. It is a very big drain so make sure that you take that into consideration when you are ordering this piece.

Absolutely beautiful pop-up drain. Very heavy and wonderfully made. It went perfect with my new vessel sink and faucet, but we did/are having problems with the pipe leaking. We think that we can fix it but did not expect the drain to leak. Also, this product does not come with directions, since I am not an expert, there were a few parts that we did not know where they were supposed to go. Over all if we can get the drain to stop leaking, I am very happy with it.

My plumber put it in last week & said that it was sturdy with copper internal parts. I like the way it looks. Since its a one piece unit, it much sleeker & more contemporary than the older units. we're pleased with our purchase & the price is great!

THIS IS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO THE STANDARD LAVATORY POP-UP DRAINS. BEING A PLUMBER I HAVE PURCHASED MANY PLUMBING PRODUCTS FROM OVERSTOCK. ALL ARE OF GREAT QUALITY AND VALUE BUT THIS ONE WAS EXEPTIONAL. I PRICED SIMILAR PRODUCTS ELSEWHERE AT THREE AND FOUR TIMES THE PRICE.
