What is the weight limit for the bed?

Answer This Question
This bed is tested to the ASTM bunk beds safety standard. When the bed is tested they will lay 400-pounds on the bed to test it's durability. Of course, this weight is stationary weight, so if 400-pounds were to jump on the slats then there might be an issue.

what is the height from the floor to the bottom of the bedbase - if I wanted add a bookshelf underneath.
