Love this popcorn machine as I put it in my media room for a corner decoration. Easy to assemble.

I purchased this popcorn machine for my husband who used to make popcorn the old fashioned way with a pan on the stovetop. He is a critic when it comes to his popcorn and he loves it! It's also a great addition in his man cave!

  • Overpriced for functionality, but cute

I needed a popcorn popper, and after searching and reading reviews, I finally settled on this one about a year and a half ago. The popper looks great and it is really easy to clean, however, it has a few major issues: 1. In order to pop the kernels efficiently, I had to let the machine warm up for at least 10 minutes before adding popcorn. 2. When adding popcorn, I had to add about a third of the included measure (1/3 of a 1/4 cup) or I wound up with at least half of the kernels I put into the machine unpopped. 3. The wheels are placed awkwardly and they do not accommodate large bowls. All that aside, I was surprised that it lasted as long as it did with the fact that I didn't give it 15 minutes to cool down between bouts of adding popcorn. If you follow the instructions to the letter, you wind up with popcorn that takes forever to pop and at least half the kernels are left unpopped. If you need cheap, it should be okay while looking for a more durable popper. If you want q...

You only can pop at half level limitation

I was disppointed because the picture is showing that you can pop to the top of the popper. Per popping instructions, you can only use recommended measurements. I didn't return it, hopefully I can sell it at my Garage Sale. I will surely tell the potential buyer the popper's limitations.

The ONLY healthy way to do popcorn!

We bought these for all the grandkids so they'd stop using the ready-pop kind that are filled with horrid chemicals. Now we feel better about their love of good old popcorn and these are the BEST poppers for that type. Since the food industry top people have ready-pop popcorn on their own lists of an item they'd never let their families eat, it seems like we all ought to have one of these, right? Good product for the money! Recommended for your health.
