Polished Brass Dummy Doorknob

If you need a double dummy door know, buy two of these and go to your local hardware store and buy a 5 or 6", 6 ml post. Put the post through the door and the knobs will screw on each end of the post.

I needed these for a set of narrow French doors. Their diameter is slightly smaller than standard so they were perfect. Good quality and fast easy installation. Please note, though, that if you need knobs on the exact opposite side of the door, you will need surface mount ones since these mount on a bolt that goes through the door.

This item is a screw from the back dummy knob. The enlarged photo shows a screw holes from the front. so does the photo on the box. These are great if installed from the bak however when you need 2 on one door they cannot be used.

Having never purchased anything like these before I was not quite sure what to expect. I was very pleased to find that these worked perfectly on the new closet doors and doors to the master dressing room. They are handsome and feel good in your hand.
