All of the previous reviews I read about these lamps was true. There were difficult to hang and I ended up no using the little post covers that came with them. the screws provided were too long or too short. I used the long screws and put them directly into the wall. Putting on the electric plug was no problem at all. Once up and installed they look beautiful and match the colors in my room exactly. Installation is not for an inexperienced handywoman.

Pretty colors- one on each side of the bed, and looks so nice. Glad my husband is handy though- they were a little difficult to put up- wrong length screws, etc- but well worth it now that it's done.

Overall, the lamp is great and love the look of it. The only down side of the lamp is that the mounting hardware that came with it does not work. It has 2 size screws and neither fit it properly. I was able to use a longer screw and screw it directly into the wall anchor. Just can't attach the screw covers that would have made it look a little nicer.

I almost didn't order this lamp based on the reviews, but I decided to take a chance on it. The lamp is very pretty, perfect for the spot I wanted to put it, but like the other reviews said, it is not easy to install, my husband had to make modifications to get it mounted, the hardware, screws etc are not the right length, after working on it for a good while, we got it on the wall and it looks great! The only problem now is there seems to be a loose connection in the switch, it doesn't always work when you turn it, you have to keep turning it.

I like this lamp. My husband and I installed two of them in about 20 minutes. I was hesitant to order them based on the reviews, but I'm glad I did. Received them in good condition. No complaints.

It looked a lot better than pictured but the metal plate was badly scratched. Do not buy this until you get a reassurance that your lamp will arrive in good condition.

The lamps look good and the first one was installed by my husband with no problem but the second was a different story. Wrong size screws, the washers to hold the arm in place did not work,etc. Fortunately, my husband is very handy and he was able to overcome these deficiencies and the finished product looks great. Would not recommend to a non handy man.

The lamp shade & metal finish look good and came as expected. However, hanging it was quite difficult. The directions are non existant. Now that it's attached to the wall, you can't extend the arm more than 2" out before it leans off the wall bracket. It will work as a wall lamp, but I'm not impressed.

this lamp is gorgeous, we got two for each side of our bed, but true to everyone else's comments the hardware is NOT correct for the lamp. we had to go get 4 more screws to fit the lamp.

a beautiful swing-arm lamp. a bit difficult to assemble and to secure to the wall. i prayed to Jesus for help.

Very happy with this product.Good construction but a little unsure with assembly directions.

I was so excited to receive this lamp as the last touch in redecorating our bedroom. I have installed this type of fixture before, and anticipated no problems. Was I ever mistaken! After assembling several times, and enlisting the help of my husband, we had to cut and re-thread the too long screws in order to hang the lamp flush with the wall. We had also tried to assemble the fixture with another set of screws included, but found them too short to project through the front of the fixture, making it impossible to attach the decorative nuts that would hold it on the wall. The instructions for the attachment of the plug to the cord were exactly opposite of how they went together. I love the lamp now that it's up, but what a hassle.

This lamp is very nice looking but the installation of this lamp was more difficult than it should have been due to inferior and improper parts. The mounting plate was a flimsy piece of metal that bent easily when trying to attach the fixture. They provide one inch and one and a half inch screws for flush mounting. The device requires one and a quarter inch screws. This lamp is listed as a 100 watt bulb fixture and when we finally got this mounted we noticed a sticker on the lamp stating it is a 60 watt bulb max. I wanted at least a 100 watt, no less, I would have passed this up at the 60 watt rating. Other than that it seemed adequate in workmanship.

This lamp is perfect for my needs. It was pretty easy to assemble. I really like the extra long cord. It made it easy to hang the lamp at just the right height. Once hung, it gives my dark corner excellent light. The swing arm feature makes it easy to shine direct light on a specific area or light the entire corner. I would definitely recommend this lamp.

Bought two of these because the colors were just what I was looking for. I had to enlist friend who knows electrical things to help install them - everything, including the plugs, were in separate pieces with no useful directions at all. He didn't think it was a big deal to assemble ... but he's not an average consumer, either. They aren't plug-in -- they are assemble from almost scratch! It was very frustrating to open the box and find this out. Also, the shades were two different shapes. I sort of smooshed one to match the other. Lastly, once hung, they look nice as long as you don't move the swing arm. If you do, they droop in odd ways and there is no capability to tighten or adjust. I like the way they look, but ...So .... I guess the look get a thumbs up, but the execution of the look gets a yelp of frustration.

I was so excited to see this lamp! The colors in the shade were exactly what I wanted. But the shade was the only thing good about this lamp. It took 3 hours to install (I'm not inept, it should have been a 5 minute job) and the screws were so bad that we ended up marring the finish trying to get them in. The arm hangs at a sloppy angle and there is no way to tighten it up. Very disappointed. I will probably buy another lamp and just use this shade.

I ordered two. Both of them have different problems that prevent me from even completing installation. Never even got a light bulb in them!

These were scratched up upon arrival so I bought some enamel and touched them up. Then they took us hours to mount on the wall only to find they slip- total peices of junk. I would have returned them but I had already touched up the paint before we tried to mount them.
