Plaza King-size Headboard with Bedframe

I bought this knowing that it would look a little different from the picture. What I didn't expect is that the bedframe underneath is all open--not good when I purchased a memory foam mattress to go with it. Both arrived on the same day. I tried to put together the bedframe and headboard & it didn't quite go together--I contacted customer service who told me I could ship it back but after the aggravation of ripping it out of the box & dragging it up the stairs I really wasn't excited about trying to find a box to ship it back & all the aggravation of trying to get it picked up. Then I had to worry about how to get the memory foam to stay on the bedframe--everyone says NOT to get a box spring when you have a memory foam mattress so I am left trying to get bed slats and plywood--a very large added expense & chore. This bedframe is also MUCH lower than the one pictured. I don't know how my parents will possibly get out of this bed with it so low to the floor. I liked the picture Much much better. I would never suggest this headboard/bedframe. Not worth the aggravation although customer service was beyond nice. I will still buy from Overstock though.
