This table has a lovely shape and is easy to assemble. However, the 'planks' are not really planks but in fact, just grooves in a large piece of production line wood. Thus, up close it does not look quite as high quality and attractive as the picture looks. However, it's a good value for the money and is a very nice, substantial size.

My husband and I received our plank coffee table, two side tables and the sofa table last night. We quickly put them all together with ease. I'm so impressed on the size, quality, color and overall style of these tables. The pictures are true to form. I use the sofa table as an entryway piece and I can not over state how happy I am with our purchases. I was nervous ordering furniture, sight unseen, but I'm so glad we did. Great buy! We've had this table for a couple of years and it is as sturdy now as the day we got it. Great quality. Great product. It has survived two young boys and three kittens and still looks great!

I love this table. Just finished putting it together and I am truly amazed at how easy it was. I did it by myself and it took about 30 minutes to unpack, assemble, and clean up. The table seems well made and very sturdy. I think it weighs close to 60 lbs. It is definitely a substantial item (as other reviewers have mentioned). I live in a small one-bedroom apartment and was concerned that it would be too big. It is definitely not. Its size anchors the room and because of the tables' simplicity it is not overwhelming. However, I would not recommend trying to pair this table with a large couch in a small room but it will work with a smaller couch. I am sure that this table will be with me for a long time and I would certainly recommend this item to others.

we just received this table and the end table that we ordered. they were quick and easy to put together, are real wood and sturdy, and look great, although they were a little darker wood than expected. yes, they are big, but they fit fine in our bonus room and look great! awesome purchase- we would definitely recommend these to anyone.

This is the BEST piece of furniture I have purchased! I know its just a coffe table, but I can't believe how easy it was to put together, how solid the wood is and how great it looks!! I have had tons of compliments on it when having guests over. by far the best investment. Anywhere else this piece of furniture would be at least 400-500 dollars. And the shipping was very quick. Def would recommend this product to everyone!!

We just received our Plank Cocktail Table. The quality is excellent and the assembly is quick and easy. In addition to the planks, there is some decorative scoring on the wood. The corners are also very slightly rounded. These little details add to the unique look of the piece. As other reviewers stated, it is a big ol' coffee table. But, the height is true to the product description: 20 inches. Next up, the matching end tables and sofa table!

I was looking for a table to match some furniture I already had. This table looks like it is part of the set! Your pictures/color are very true to the final product. As some of the other reviews said, the table is taller than a normal coffee table. We really like the height. Perfect for our wood chess set to sit on!! The quality/price is great. This coffee table is really big and tall. I love the look - just wish is was a little shorter as it overpowers my living room (NYC Apartment). I still love it - it's sort of mission style. I might have the legs cut 2 inches.Hope this helps !

I was a little hesistant when I saw the words "some assembly required" because I didn't want the table to look cheap and obviously self-assembled. I was suitably impressed after my husband assembled it - there is no sign that it is self-assembly - it looks heavy and solid, it feels solid and the dark walnut-like color is just what we wanted. My only complaint, and I had read it in another review, is that it is tall and next to the sofa and chairs, it looks (and is) a big table. We're deciding whether or not to saw off a couple of inches off each leg or live with it. Its a good height for putting drinks and snacks on the table as you are not reaching down to them. Quality-wise I have no complaints. It looks good in our living room which is light & airy and beach-like and has a large blue upholstered sofa and dark rattan chairs.

My husband and I put it together in about 20 minutes, and all the parts and hardware fit perfectly. We placed the table in the family room in front of the couch, and next to a love seat. The table is larger and higher (as high as the couch itself) than most cocktail tables. It is a lovely dark solid wood with a slightly "distressed" look that is rugged enough not to be fussy, yet elegant enough for a living room. A wonderful value!

V. easy to assemble and fits in great w/ all our furniture. Also really durable. My husband has a problem w/ leaving glasses directly on tables despite our multiple coasters, but no rings so far. The table looks slightly more beachy than I had hoped, but it still goes w/ our overstuffed couch and chair.

I was looking for a mission-style coffee table to go with my other furniture. Table is beautiful, rustic, easy to assemble and came packed very well. It seems a little darker stained than it appears in photo. I am very pleased with the quality for a great price.

I could not believe it. This coffe table perfectly matched my lone end table that was given to me a while ago. The table top were exactly the same except for the legs, but that did not matter since a lot of them do not anyway. I am very pleased. Keep up the good work.

Looks great but did take a little help from a friend to assemble. He needed to hold up one side, while I connected the other side. I'm not sure if this could be assembled alone. It's a little bigger than I visualized, but will a great addition to our livingroom.

The table is very nice, a great quality for the price. The bottom piece came broken, however we called the company that makes the table and they sent a new piece right away. Overall, I would say that it is a beautiful table and would be a nice addition to your home.

Got this along with two end tables. Very pleased with how sturdy it was, how easy it was to assemble, and the overall look. The pieces are big, but do look great with our oversized sofa. Very happy!
