I have been researching nice grandfather clocks since September. Over and over, I'd either find a good price and excessive shipping charges, or reasonable shipping on an over-priced clock. It has been a real challenge to find a clock in my price range that is well built, stylish and which will look good in my living room. This Plainville clock was the perfect compromise between high quality and reasonable price. It looks great in my living room and it didn't clean out my bank account. It was easy to assemble, and runs great.
