Why did you choose this product?
When I opened the boxes to put it together everything looked fine. When we started to put the headboard together I noticed a crack on the wood on the bottom right hand corner that would easily break off it hit the wrong way. I was extremely disappointed as I was all ready to set up this bed! I called customer service and they are SUPER NICE and amazing at getting things done. I put in a request for a new headboard (on Friday) and on Thursday it was shipped out. Although it took 2 weeks to get here the new headboard was wrapped up much better and in great condition. It was a pretty easy set up and I love the way it looks and makes my room feel whole. One last thing, I noticed before I set up the bed the second time they gave me two RIGHT legs to attach to the headboard instead of a LEFT and RIGHT. I almost had a fit but luckily the new headboard came with the legs so I had a spare left one to use. PHEW. Overall I'd give OVERSTOCK a 3 out of 5 for their silly mistakes but I would give their customer services a 5 out of 5 as they were ALWAYS so helpful!...

after about 3 months, the side rails completely gave way because the 3/4" x 3/4" particle board rail was held on with wood glue and screws that bit in less than 1/4". I have a homemade box spring so I simply used my own screws to screw the box spring directly to the side rails, but for the ~$*** I paid, that should never had happened. Overstock did promptly send new side rails but I like my fix so much, I still haven't changed them.Read More

The bed looks great in our room and I am very happy with the overall appearance; however, in the daylight, when the sun shines in my room just so, you can see a thin layer of dust ALWAYS. I will dust the bed in the moment and the dust comes right back. Thankfully, I did not purchase the matching dresser. I think I will go a different route for the rest of my bedroom furnishings because I don't like to see the dust. This is really a minor issue, especially since the light has to be just right to notice it. The bigger issue is the footboard. It sticks out a good inch beyond the bedframe. I was aware of this and was determined to not run into it; however, one day, I turned from the closet and headed out of the room at a rapid pace and rammed my leg just above my knee into the corner of the frame. Let's just say, it nearly took me down and I leaned against the wall for a couple of minutes crying out in agony. That's been 3 weeks ago and the bruise is still present. So, beware if you purchase this bed. I also have a 4 year old and I'm always playing interference so she does not run into the bed. With that said, I am happy with the overall purchase, but if I could go back, I might choose soemthing different.Read More
