This is a lovely peice of furniture and the deminsions are perfect for the space in our breakfast nook. It is fairly easy to assemble; however, it has a major design flaw. The back support comes in two peices causing the entire unit to bow outwards or lean and the 2 small plates provided to hold these two peices together did not begin to support the unit. My husband and son added another 4 x 6 to the back and screwed all the back braces into the shelves AND added shelf braces to each shelf to stabilize the unit. The initial overall craftmanship is good and with our additions it is now a functional as well as asthetically pleasing unit. If you are a handyman it is a fairly good value...If not, you are in trouble with this peice.

I actually wanted the pine cupboard which wasn't in stock but I got the white one and it worked out fine. It was pretty easy to put together once you got the details down but the last part where you put the back on was a little difficult because there were holes drilled in the thick cardboard for the backing but none in the wood, so that took a little while. Otherwise it didn't take that long. It would have been quicker but I only used a manual screwdriver because I don't have an electric one. I have received several compliments on it.

I was a little nervous about this cabinet after seeing the poor review, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love it. It looks great, it went together easily and I'm very impressed with the quality for such an inexpensive piece.
