I haven't used this yet as it's been too cold for picnics. It looks great, however, and I hope to use it pretty soon. The only change I would make is to add a picnic blanket; however, that's not a big problem. I'll get a tablecloth the pattern of the napkins, and I'll be all set. The main reason I picked this is that it is a backpack, and my friends and I are getting to old to carry a basket. I think this is a great idea.

The backpack is very nice but I would have liked had it been just a tad larger and the straps been placed in a more comfortable place. Not for hard core hikers but great for a quick, romantic short mile jaunt to a scenic lunch spot. My son and his wife will like it.

Fairly small-I was looking to just carry a few water bottles-light weight and water proof. Perfect. The straps are comfortable. Not so thrilled with the sports theme but otherwise, it is perfect for what I was looking for!

I was given one of these many Christmas's ago and have been using it on a regular basis for the past 7 years. It has held up to a lot of Berkeley Hill hikes as well as all over the coastal trails and hikes around Montara, Half Moon Bay, Moss Beach, and now Lake Berryessa, the gold country, all up in the Sacramento area. I regualarly take cheese, bread, veggies, wine, water, endless yummy munchies. My daughter returns from her studies in Japan and takes it for a strenuous work out.. Burning Man and the like. Yeah.. we've sewn a few stiches to face lift her but she's a lasting. Impressive!

We love it so far! We chilled the bottles & pack in frig- before taking them on our picnic. they stayed cool the whole time - a few hours. we also were able to fit a small log of cheese in w/it to use the cutting board & gagdets are great too! We didn't have to go looking for them or hope we didn't forget them at home! A friend recommended we purchase a small ice packs to put in next time to keep them even cooler-so we will try that! Also, we put our glasses on one side wrapped-and only 1 bottle for a concert and that was nice too! We would buy agan!
