This cabinet is really cool. It's like having a little piece of London right in my house which totally tickles me. And it finally gave me a place for all those vagrant CDs and DVDs. Five shelves, each of which hold about 36 CDs or 18 DVDs across. They are fairly deep as well, so I can put other things behind them. Putting it together should be easy for anyone who has ever used Legos. Size wise, I am 5'8" and the cabinet comes up to my rib cage. Very, very cute and quite substantial in weight and construction. You'll like it! It will make you smile!
Love, love, love this media cabinet both for its decorative value and the storage. I struggled a little bit in putting the cabinet together, and definitely needed my husband's assistance, but I couldn't be happier with the results. The cabinet is painted a beautiful candy apple red and the finish has a luster that really sets off the cabinet well. We are both happy with this purchase and the low shipping charges. The phone booth is cute and easy to assemble, the shelves are deep so what I did is that I lifted the second row of the CD's so that I could access them easily.
I really love my British phone booth, it is adorable, and so many people have comment on it. I use it so store my book collection(it isn't very big, but is slowly growing). It isn't as big as the photo shows it, but it comes about to my chest (I am 5'4"). I recommend it to anyone who wants a unique special touch to a study, or office. I put it together myself and had no problems. If you are on the ropes about buying it, JUST DO IT, you will love it and not regret buying it!!!!!
This product certainly creates a talking point when we have guests! Our only disappointment was that it holds two rows of CDs on each shelf but you can't see the back row so you have to move out the first ones to access those kept at the back. I looked everywhere for baskets to fit the shelves and found nothing so my husband ending up making some. It is a good product but could be designed better to store more CDs and DVDs.
