Well, the name alone impressed me. Pfaltzgraff is a well known company for good quality flatware and dinnerware. I was slightly disappointed when this set arrived - my husband even more so. He couldn't believe I was replacing the flatware we had with this set. The quality did not appear to be very good. The pieces are extremely light and thin looking department store quality, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. I have had the set about 3 weeks now. Many of the pieces have water spots that are stained on from going through the dishwasher. I have a very good dishwasher that dries well also and have never had problems before with any flatware, but this set is terrible. I can't put them in the dishwasher and have to wash and dry them by hand. Not very convenient and not what I intended by purchasing this set. I am very disappointed. I expected more from Pfaltzgraff.
