• Please tell us about the quality of the product. I have used Pflatzgraff dishes for the past 12 years and they last. I hope these dishes hold up as well. I hope these dishes are 1st quality b/c there are imperfections around the rims of the plates. BUT I like the colors. They are cheery.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? The description was on the money but the plates are larger than I thought they would be and the cups can also be used for soup bowls. They are very large.
• Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Must be careful when reviewing pictures. The general background color of this product is yellow. Not the bone color in the picture. Still believe the purchase was a good value.

I love the pattern and bowls,cups. I did not realize that the plates were as large as they are. The dinner plates do not fit in my newly remodeled kitchen cabinets which is a huge disappointment. I have to store them in the island and that is away from the other dishes. They also do not fit well in the dishwasher, again too big. They hit on the bar that spins around. It makes loading the dishwasher quite challenging. Not sure I would have chosen the dishes had I realized the size.

I saw these dishes in a department store and really loved them so I went online to Overstock for a better deal. The dishes are good quality and look great!

The colors and pattern are very suggestive of the American Southwest. All the pieces are at least slightly larger than normal. The mugs hold at least 150% of a normal mug. Same with the bowls. Check you cupboard depth against size of dinner plates to be sure cupboard doors can close. We have to hand-wash the plates as they don't fit in our dishwasher. Despite the size issues, we love these dishes and expect to be using them a decade from now.

I wish I would have read Julie's review before I purchased these dishes. I did purchase mine from Overstock last summer and within several weeks 50% of the dishes were chipped. I should have written to Overstock right away and asked for my money back, but I was too busy. However, now that I must purchase another set of dishes because at the 1 year mark, I would say that 99% of the dishes chipped. My husband and I have lived overseas, and have had many different dish sets from all over the world. I have never had this happen before and was really angry when they all started chipping. I guess at this point there is no recourse other than to warn other people from purchasing these dishes.

I did not buy this dinnerware set from Overstock. I bought service for 12 in a local department store. Within six months ALL of the dishes started to chip, peel, and blister. I called the company and they asked me if I'd read the directions on how to care for stoneware and thought that maybe I hadn't handled or cleaned the dishes appropriately. Then they told me that there is nothing they could do. After I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told I could send pictures and if they thought there was a material or manufacturing issue they would notify me of what they would do to resolve the issue. I sent the pictures twice and they never got back to me. EVERY SINGLE PIECE is now chipped, peeling, and blistered. They also get so hot after one minute in the microwave that you can't even touch them. The set is really pretty, but not worth $1. I'm here looking for new dishes three years after I paid $300.00 for these. Save your money and buy from a company that stands behind their products.
