Very disappointed!
I was very disappointed in the quality of the product. I wish I would have gotten on sooner, so I could have received a refund. The plates themselves were beautiful, they just chipped so easily. Almost every single plate and bowl chipped in the first few weeks.

Dishes are as shown.
These are lovely dishes, but on the large size. The dinner dish measures a full 12 inches which is slightly oversized. Also, the mug is quite large almost twice the size of a regular size mug. But I love the pattern and color so they are a keeper!

Purchased tow sets of this dinnerware for my Dad and Mon for a Christmas gift, They love it!!

Chips Too Easily
Ever since Pfaltzgraff moved its production to China, its overall product quality has gone steadily down. But I did not know that when we bought this dinnerware. It looks wonderful, but within two days of using it, pieces were chipping. They chip with simple use, chip in the dishwasher, chip when I set a piece on the solid surface counter. The USA and Mexico made Pfaltzgraff pieces I've had for 25 years have yet to chip. I told Pfaltzgraff customer service that their Chinese made product is sub-standard and I'd not be buying their "only half price" replacement pieces. They did not even reply, other than to take me off their mailing list. I may have to pay more, but as each piece chips to the point that I'm not comfortable using it, I will replace with products from pottery/stoneware/porcelain making countries who still take some pride in their products. This is very poor value for the price paid, even at Overstock.

great dishes
These dishes are wonderful. They are happy and make my table look great when it is set. The dinner plates are really, really large. Be advised that they might not fit in all dishwashers because they are so large so you might want to check the height of your bottom dish area before you buy these. They wash great in the dishwasher and I have not had any problems with cracks or rough spots. I have had them since December of 2010 and I am still very happy that I got these. Yay!
