Could have been great
I've owed this set for 5 months. Right out of the box, the quality wasn't good - 2 plates had glazing issues. Called PF to get a replacement plate, they wouldn't replace. Seems I needed to purchase directly from them to get their help. They told me to ship the whole thing back to where I bought it from. So, I kept the set and it's my daily dishes. It's fine in the microwave. No issues yet. Bowls are very deep. Colors were perfect for my Tuscan style kitchen. Plates are very pretty. Mugs could be bigger, but no chipping problems on any piece. Scratches on plates from knives & forks - very odd. I'd recommend it with reservations - It's a nice departure from 'flowers' and odd patterns, the colors are gorgeous, but I don't expect it to be around forever.

Great Set, Great Price
I purchased these dishes for a cottage here in Florida. The colors are vivid and fun. Put some of the pieces on display in dining room built ins and always get compliments on them...a touch of he old country at a very affordable price. FYI...one dinner plate was chipped on arrival...one quick call to Plalzgraff customer service and new one was shipped within days....no hassle, no add'l cost!

Earthenware dishes....DO NOT PURCHASE
Do not buy "Earthenware"....does not hold up. fine line cracks in glaze and black mold appears....One plate was covered! I'm not using these dishes any longer.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. After using "Earthenware" dishes from Pfaltzgraff, I am very disappointed. After only 1 year of use the glaze has hairline cracks and black mold appears thru the cracks. Just get a runaround from the MFG.....I don't feel it's a problem of Overstock....and the MFG. just wants me to deal with Overstock.....crazy!!

Great for everyday use.
These dishes suit my needs well. My last set of dishes would burn your hand if you put them in the dishwasher, these do not. The shape and size of the bowls were the selling point for me. Since I live in the southwest, this pattern is a pleasing design for everyday use.

Don't buy them
I highly recommend that you do not buy any of the Overstock dinnersets. The sets are supposed to be microwave safe...well they are NOT. All the crockery I have put into the microwave has cracked. So while they look good, they aren't versitile which is what I expect of my dinnerware. Very disappointinng.
