Packaged well for journey to Australia. Product good weight and color just as shown. Mugs great size. Small differences in pattern make it seem very "personal" and "one off" rather than mass manufacture. Bought 2 sets to make 8 place setting. Couldn't find anything like it in Oz (to match my placemats) and I'm thrilled with this product.

Shipment was made in a timely fashion, dishes arrived in good condition. They are pretty, although heavy. Mugs and bowls are big. If I'd seen them in the store, instead of online, I probably would have picked another color/pattern, but that's simply a matter of personal preference. They don't "stand out" to me, thus the 4 stars. I have to leave them in storage for a while until I move, so haven't used them yet. I shopped around on the internet and couldn't beat the Overstock price! Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

This is a quality dish set for a good price.
This is a quality dish set from a good company. I had puirchased a set on a markdown table from a local department store and like it so much I tried to fins another set to go with the first one I bought. I was not able to find one at any of our local stores and then on line. I was very happy to find a matching set on Overstock.com. The dishes are well made and substanial with vibrant colors on the pattern. The dish sizes are ample per peice. I'm very happy with what I purchased.

Good value
This is a really fun set of dishes, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. My only complaint would be that I purchased 2 sets and there is a pretty noticable difference in the color between the two (one being a fair bit more pale than the other). When mixed together, however, it really isn't a big deal. The plate are wonderfully oversized, the bowls large and deep, and the cups are a very nice size and fit well in the hand. NOTE: the dishes (particularly the bowls) do get hot when put in the microwave. It makes me question whether or not they are truly microwave safe.

Color different than pic
Nice dishes, but the ground of these appears cream in the pics. It is actually yellow. Also, the orange is a little more on the orangy-side rather than rust. Still not a bad purchase, but it's hard to tell colors on-line. Also, I didn't realize that Pfaltzgraff stoneware has an unglazed edge on the bottom, so you'll need to be careful when putting them on the table. They recommend always using a mat or table cloth.

Handsome & Solid
I have young kids and needed to replace dishes - both broken and missing to the great backyard and the expeditions to visit with toads, spiders and crickets. Alas. Although I fully expect this set to go the way of previous dishes, the price was wonderful, the quality is superb & the graphics remind me of long ago days wandering the Medieval Hilltowns of Tuscany.
