My hopes unraveled
We watched this rug for over a month, trying to decide if it was the rug we really wanted to purchase. Finally it was on sale and we decided it was THE ONE. We waited all week for it to show up. We moved our dining table and flipped our house upside down. Finally that afternoon it arrived! When we walked outside to collect it off our porch we thought for sure it would be a team lift. However, my 5'2" wife lifted it up on her own and carried it in. That was the first bad omen. We got it inside and got it unwrapped. Upon rolling it out we were very happy with how nice it really looked in person. It's a wonderfully designed rug. The colors and textures are amazing! I noticed that it had a lot of strings clinging to it, but that's not unusual for a new rug. I started to vacuum it and our vacuum started making strange sounds. I turned it off and my wife and I had to unravel and untangle what amounted to a small ball of yarn out of the beater brushes of our vacuum. The rug had gone bald in patches. Just being vacuumed had pulled out multiple sections of the rug. I immediately called overstock. They agreed to take it back and pay the shipping. They were very polite and took care of the incident very well. We are giving the rug another chance. I hope it's just a fluke that we got this poorly constructed specimen. This rug is made by Loloi Rugs and they have received numerous accolades for rug making. This rug typically retails for $900 everywhere else. It leads me to wonder if overstock is selling the rejects of this particular manufacture. I hope that's not the case. We will update with a new review if when our replacement arrives next week. Till then, I would steer clear of this rug and this brand if I were you.

Love this Rug
This rug fits wonderfully in our project room. It was exactly what I was looking for. The colors are very vibrant and it goes great with the green walls and bright accents in the room. The rug arrived very quickly; excellent service.

The Short Life of a Beautiful Rug
I love this rug's happy welcome when I walk in the door. Unfortunately, like summer flowers, sunny days and birthday cake, it isn't going to last. When I first unrolled the rug, there were a few pulled loops. Hmmm, not what I wanted but perhaps this was a fluke. Nope. Each day more loops pull up. Now, I have a choice - I can grump and complain, even return this rug, or I can love it for the short time it will survive in my house of dogs, cats and kids. I choose the latter and hope that there is a finite number of loops aching to break free. Reading the label on the back, it appears that this rug cannot be cleaned with a vacuum using a beater bar. Well, isn't that special - most of us have beater bar vacuums. That informationm, if included in the description, would have kept me from falling in love and offering this rug a home.

Colors true, loose threads
Love the colors, They match the picture and description. It is hard to find a rug that is this colorful and design. We are using it in our kitchen under our table. We have had it for over a year and I am thinking it might be time to start looking for a new one. We noticed a few loose threads when we first got it. So we got some scissors and trimmed them up thinking they might be left over when the rug was made. But over time we have noticed more and more loose threads. The colors have stayed nice, but it looks slightly shabby with the loose threads. We continue to clip the threads periodically, but was hoping for a better quality.

bright and colorful
This rug is so fun! Its bright and colorful and is exactly what I needed to bring summer to my living room. The rug is a great size for between my couch and chairs. The colors are as vibrant as shown on screen. It also came very quickly, even faster than quoted.
