    • My husband loves wooden spoons. My mother never used wooden spoons, and I never got the wooden spoon thing. Finally at 51 years old I got it. I was cooking a rue in a non stick pan, didn't want to use a metal spoon and used a plastic spoon. Well, I melted the plastic spoon, picked up a wooden spoon and finished the crawfish stew. NOW I GET IT!!!
