Surprisingly "Accurate"!
I have loved Cezanne for many, many years and have been very fond of this particular composition for as long as I can remember. So, it was with the knowledge that I could return it easily (or, with relative ease, as Overstock really does cooperate) that I gave this canvas a try. I am thrilled with the look and "feel" of this attempt to recreate a masterful and emotionally evocative piece. The colors, the intensity of stroke and the palette knife application are really well done. Whoever did this deserves some real credit; they captured the ethereal aspects and showed their respect for Cezanne in a way that I get to enjoy for years. I know that these can vary from piece to piece but I recommend giving it a try if you are thinking about it. I consider this a wonderful "find".
