The material is much more durable than displayed. It covers our table perfectly. The color was true to what was offered.

The nice looking, yet plastic top cracked when the umbrella blew over. It was not an integral part and it looks fine without it. The base is amazingly heavy (good) which just shows how much wind is here at the beach, so I wish it came with a tie so wind could not go up under it when closed to open umbrella and escort it to the ground. However , I will solve it with a cord. Other than that, I think it is great.

  • A good table umbrella for the price

This is not the Rolls Royce of patio umbrellas. But then it's priced like a Chevy. And at the price it's a decent umbrella that should last 4-5 years unless a really strong wind breaks it. It has the simple metal push button tilt which allows it to tip over enough to be useful when the sun is low on the horizon. The line that raises and lowers it is nylon cord rather than steel cable. So be careful about cranking too hard. The pole is a bit thinner than the one this replaced. But given that it's anchored by a stand at the bottom and the table at about 30 inches off the ground, it seems sturdy enough for all but really strong winds. PS - that's how we lost our last umbrella.....forgot to lower it before a thunderstorm. It tipped over the table / stand and broke the framework for the canopy. Moral of story.....if you want these things to last, take care of them.

I wanted an indigo blue umbrella that when delivered you could put up immediately (without having to put the spokes in the fabrc. This umbrelal was not only a great price, it was perfect in all other respects. Size, color, crank.

This is the only umbrella for me. It is very windy at my place. Although I don't have the umbrella up when it is too windy, there is no doubt in my mind that an aluminum pole would not withstand the wind. The fiberglass pole, in my opinion, is the only worth buying.
