Good fit with Shaker table
Pretty chairs that went nicely with Shaker table also purchased from Overstock. Nice fabric. Semi-difficult to assemble because of screw holes not being exactly at the correct angle. Ordered 4 chairs, 3 of the 8 front legs were damaged. Contacted Customer Service and replacement legs were sent very quickly. No hassle at all. Very efficient CS representatives. My daughter loves the chairs and they look great in her small apartment.

I Love Em!
All you need to do is look at the price to understand that these are probably not heirloom quality chairs that your descendents will still be sitting on 300 years from now. But I find them to be of perfectly acceptable quality given the price paid, the ones that were shipped to me had all of their hardware, simple assembly instructions, and no missing or damaged parts; in short, they arrived in perfect condition and are still in perfect condition after assembly by myself (and I'm a TOTAL amateur at that kind of thing!) They look like a million bucks - very contemporary, chic, sophisticated and stylish. I'm using them mainly as accent pieces, so I can't comment as to how they'd stand up to heavy daily usage but for my needs, they're perfect and I'd absolutely recommend them. The background color IS NOT white - I've noticed some people asking that question. I wouldn't even call it cream, it's more like the color of natural linen, IMO. Which I think is part of what adds to their high-end look. Yes they're smaller in scale but they are still full-sized chairs; they don't look like miniatures or anything. Mine have a consistent finish on the wood legs, they don't smell bad, or present any of the other negative qualities that other reviewers have stated. Maybe I just got lucky but I love these chairs.

cute style
These are adorable chairs for the right place. They add tons of interest in the room. I only bought 2 to go on either side of an antique table. The blend of old and new is great and they were exactly what I was looking for. I hesitated because of some of the reviews but for what I needed I took a chance and am pleased with them. They will not get tons of use so for the money I say so ahead, they are really cute. Mine came with easy instructions and no major problems.

Looks nice, but not for use.
The wood that they used for this was the worst I have seen. It smelled horrible and it was such poor wood that I would not let a guest sit in this chair. I got these for my dining room and they look nice, but that is it. The chairs smell like they have been sitting in a chinese factory molding. I ordered 4 chairs and eveyone had the same type of wood in them. If you weigh 70 lbs or less they would work fine. Anymore than that the seat part would split the wood.

Good for the prce
I purchased the chairs to use only as extras for when we entertain in our formal dining area, I would not recommend you purchasing these for every day use, they are small in size next to our formal dining chairs and are very light weight. It takes coordination to balance out the legs for firm footing of the chairs. If you plan to only use as extras, they'll be great, if plan to use everyday, I would not recommend.
