this arrived in 4 business days from the date of purchase - great quality & easy to assemble. it's slightly darker than the picture above, but its the perfect and matches my other pieces. for the price - you can't beat it!! just in time for the holidays!

On the photo it looks like you have a lot of headboard but beware if you have a deep mattress it will go too far up the headboard and cover it. I beleive it is shown without a box spring.

First I want to tell that the dimensions are wrong. Real Long is 84" not 98". Also my bed came with dark chocolate leather and it looks much better than black. Really easy to ensamble. Awesome looking. Nice quality.

After a bad experience with a cheaper headboard only option (veneered cheap wood), it was a pleasure to get something delivered that was: -Well packaged and undamaged -Solid wood that was nicely finished (no press board, particle board, yeah!) -Relatively easy to assemble if you can get an extra set of hands for 10 minutes and aren't afraid of screw drivers -Offers good support from a slat system (must use a box spring) -Durable build and feel All in all, a fine purchase. I guess you get what you pay for,. from a comparison shopping point of viewI have seen similar items for $800/$850 in other catalogs. The only negative, which is really a testament to my own clutziness, is that the footboard extends a little beyond the bracket and mattresses on either side. This makes it have a nice look, but it can be easy to catch a toe or knee coming around the edge of the bed to quickly. I am sure we will eventually remember. One note, the leather upholstering on the headboard is to our taste and well done, but it should be mentoned this is not a soft/supple leather. It is not rough, but it is not the super plush softest leather. In our eyes, this was a bonus for durability; others may whant somethings super soft.
