Pleasantly surprised
Just arrived yesterday. Easily and quickly assembled. Everything screwed together tightly and evenly. Good weighted base, not extremely heavy, but Im not worried about it tipping. Surprised that the glass below the lamp also lights up. I thought it was more of a decoration, but its a seperate light that lights up either alone or with the main light. I love it! I ordered two of these for both sides of a high armed couch and they look great! They give a spuce of formality to the living room without being too fancy for my stuff ;) Really happy and pleasantly surprised!

Nice lamp but he stand is not made correctly
The lamp is very pretty but I noticed that it was leaning to the side. When I looked at the base I noticed that the alignment was off which made the lamp lean. I am disappointed because the lamp is very nice, but the one that I received is not made properly.

Really fine lamp!
I was very surprised by the excedingly high quality of this floor lamp! Assembly was very fast and easy, and really self-explanitory even without the included instructions. The base is very heavily weighted, which is very important, since the shade is heavy glass... I really love the 3-way upper bulb (you buy) and the separate night light feature (bulb included)... This is a very handsome and functional lamp for any decor... I did NOT use the included upper rim for the glass shade, as it appeared somewhat cheap-looking, and actually detracted from the total look of the lamp... I discarded it with the packing material... Shipping was very fast, and packaging was so good, that it could have withstood an earthquake! Form-fitting styrofoam does require a vacuum cleaner to tidy up... Great product!

Bought two and they look very nice
Love the bright light. Even though the shade is a bit darker than pictured it lets off a lot of light with the 150 watt bulb. We bought two and it makes the room bright for reading in the evenings.

If the lamp had a three-way switch, it would have been perfect, but with a 60 watt light bulb, it serves our purpose.
